London girl Betty Cooper is part of her school's pen pal scheme. Betty finds out her own pal will be a boy from Paris called Jughead. What will happen when the two connect with the power of words? Will it create a friendship or maybe even something m...
Last week in English class the teacher told us that she had set up pen pals for us from a school in England. I was excited I could actually have a written conversation with an English person. You see I'm naturally gifted at English and I think it's an important language to learn as many people speak it.
Today we had just been told that our letters from our pen pals in England have been delivered to the school. I'm so excited to meet mine. I opened the beautifully enveloped letter and saw it read dear Forsythe but in French. Ugh I guess my school went by our birth names. I read until the end of the letter and was excited to get to know more about Betty my new pen pal
She seemed like a nice girl and we had a lot in common. I started writing my letter in English because the teacher told us to. _________________________________________ Dear Betty,

I put the letter in an envelope and handed it to my teacher. She said in a week we would receive another letter from our pen pals and write another letter back.
I just really hope Betty thinks I'm a nice person and who knows we could make great friends.
