Stalking

The spring afternoon rapidly whipped the teen's brown hair. He was parched on the wall outside of Karasuno's gym, using his upper body to keep himself steady as his feet dragged against the concrete lining. The rubber beneath his shoes bends like his back. He tries to blend into his surroundings as much as he could, but looking from afar, he was really an eyesore.

He scanned over the gym and spot a fluff of orange in the far back. Squinting his eyes at them, he sighed quietly to himself. Was the small fry even that busy? A sense of discomfort swept over him, like something was wrapping him up in a blanket; he was sweating through his sweater, but that heat only rose incurably. Throwing the thought away and focusing on the scene in front of him, his mood dampened completely as his knuckle bleed white with the bar to their window.

"What are you doing?" Someone asked from behind him, stern and stiff like a person he knew.

He jolted in surprise and his hands accidently slipped from the pole. Since the person was behind him, he fell backward awkwardly into their embrace.
By the time he'd figured out that person was his friend, they had already let go and watched him drop to the ground. A small thud and a whispered "ow" resonated around them, but the people inside didn't notice the commotion.

"Why are you here?"

"To stalk Chibi-Chan." He was shameless in admitting this and got his hair pulled by the older as a result.

"Ow- if you already know, why bother asking?" he whispered quietly and glared at his ace, "that's besides the point, what are you doing here?" His eyes grew merrier and he raised an eyebrow as if he knew.

"Hey, don't tell me you're also here to take a peek at Chibi-Chan," his curiosity gave him another slap to the head and he grumbled lowly. "If I had known Iwa-Chan would be here, I wouldn't have gone today."

"I just happened to pass by," Iwaizumi said out of nowhere. Oikawa was just playing around and didn't expect an answer from the older. He looked at Iwaizumi's red ears before snickering into his hand. This is a sight to behold; who passes by Karasuno when their school is in the opposite direction. He's obviously trying to deflect the matter with his boring excuses.

"Then go," Oikawa said bluntly while shooing him out with his hands. He grabbed onto the bar again, cool metal keeping him sane from the heat, and started climbing clumsily back up to take a peak at small fry.

Feeling as though he was thrown to the side, Iwaizumi took a few steps forward and commented angrily: "You can't just tell someone to go." As scary as he might be, there wasn't much anger coming out of that body, so Oikawa stayed unbothered.

"If you don't want to join in on the fun, then get going," Oikawa clarified with utmost disinterest, "I can't have someone like you hinder me."

They ended up getting into an argument, until Iwaizumi chose to physically get involved; he grabbed his captain by his collar and yanked him back like he would when reeling a giant fish in from the sea. The younger started gagging because of his blocked airway, but his friend didn't even care.

He tried to stop himself from getting dragged away from the window, and since he was so stubborn, his grip on the bar only tightened as he scratch at Iwaizumi's hand with his free one in hope that he would let go. The older didn't budge, so he ended up getting light headed. That weird warmth was still there and made him even dizzier. He believed that if he didn't die from Iwa-chan's hands, he might as well visit the afterlife from a heat stroke.

With the fear of being sent to the emergency room, Oikawa yelled out desperately. "I-Iwa-chan, I might die! I might die!" His limbs flailed around like octopus legs, face ghastly pale when he gasp for air.
