Changes- A Peter Parker/ X-Reader fanfiction

Chapter 2

„Please no... Don't say that this is true..." Tony got some really bad news from his bodyguard. Nat, Steve and Clint come into the labor. „Tony? What happened?"-„You guys know Peter's aunt May, right?"-„Yeah... Why?"-„Well, somehow they found out that Peter's Spider-Man and because he did a mistake on our last mission against them. Hydra... k-kidnapped May and... god, I don't wanna imagine, what they're doing to her!"-„Holy shit!"-„Language! But... oh god... the poor boy... How should we tell him?"-„Tell who what?"
Peter stands in the door, still with his backpack. He came here right after school.
„Peter? Shouldn't you be at Ned's today?"-„I sent you a message in the morning. Ned's got a meeting today."
Tony checks his phone. Indeed, Peter sent him a message, which tells exactly that.
„Anyways, what do you want to tell?" Clint goes up to him and puts a hand onto his shoulder. „Maybe you should sit down, bud."-„No. If it's about me, then tell me!"
The fact, that Tony can't tell him, Steve does it.
„Peter, you still know the last fight against Hydra?"-„Yes, and I did accidentally killed one important person of them? Do you mean that?"-„Yes... Listen, kid. T-they have your aunt. And they took her somewhere, we don't know where..."-„W-WHAT?"
Peter becomes really pale and slides down the wall. Tears fill up his eyes. Nat sits down next to him and brings him into a hug. „Why?"-„They found out that you're Spiderman. I don't know how..."
Then, Peter stands up and runs into his room.
„I don't wanna put him into an orphanage. He's only 15, soon 16."-„Tony, don't even think about that! We shouldn't tell anybody bout that... for now."-„But we should look after him."-„Let's wait a bit. I'm sure, he wants to be alone now..."

Meanwhile in Peter's room: He's lying on his bed and cries. He gets many messages from Y/n or MJ, but he doesn't respond. He turns off his phone. After a few minutes, he closes his eyes.
An hour later, it knocks on his door. „Peter, can I come in?" He looks up and sees Tony with his backpack and a glass of water. Peter nods and so Tony sits down on the side of his bed.
„It's all my fault...", comes very silent from the teenager. „That's absolutely not true!"-„But without me, she would still be here."-„Stop saying this! It's not your fault!" He puts a hand on his shoulder. „Please, stop saying this. You seriously need a distraction. Let's go to the living room. Nat gad the idea of watching a movie. Are you in?"-„What movie?"-„You can choose."-„OK. I'm coming."-„Oh, we discussed and decided that you gonna stay at the tower for the next time."-„Ok... Mr Stark? Could you pease call my school and tell that I won't come the next few days? I can't really focus on school right now."-„Sure kid. Now come on!" In the living room, Nat already sits on the couch and scrolls through movies. „Peter? Do you want tea or hot chocolate?"-„Can I have a hot chocolate, please?"-„Sure."-„So, what movie?"-„Star Wars!"-„I thought bout that."
Half an hour, before the movie comes to an end, Peter falls asleep. The two adults let him sleep and go into the kitchen to male dinner. Every time, someone comes in, they tell them to be quiet. It was quiet cute.
After a while, they hear Peter waking up. „Don't tell me, I fall asleep at Star Wars..." All of them have to start laughing. Even Peter.
„We have to say, you did. Now, c'mon, dinner's ready!"
The Avengers are joking around to lift Peter's mood, what works. He's happier than before.
Until he opens his phone...
The news are everywhere now and so he gets many messages. Especially from Ned, MJ and Y/n.
But he still doesn't respond. He just puts in his headphones and listens to music, what causes that he doesn't hear Steve calling his name until he taps on his shoulder.
„OMG! Can you please stop scaring me?"-„I'm sorry. But do you wanna come to the gym? That would change your mind."-„No, maybe another time..."-„Oh, alright. If you'll change your mind, Sam and I are in the gym."
Peter decides to go in his room again, where he changes into pyjamas and tries to sleep. But this doesn't really work...

Tony wanted to check on the teenager and so he goes to his room. But when he's in there, he sees an open window, through which Peter crawls onto the roof. „Oh, the roof..."
He doesn't want to take the armor, so he takes the elevator.
When he arrives on the roof, he sees the teenager, sitting on a bench and looking over the city.
Tony sits down besides him, doing the same.
„I'm sorry that I'm up here, but I can't sleep..."-„No, it's totally fine. You know, when I can't sleep, I'm up here, too."-„Really?"-„Yeah."
He turns his head to the 15 year old.
„Did you cry?"-„No... maybe..."
He puts him into a hug and the teen let it out.
„How about inviting your friends for a movie marathon tmrw?"-„Yeah, why not..."-„Oh and Steve and Sam are in the gym. Together with Clint and Scott. They always prank Steve and Sam. It's really funny. Wanna go there?"-„Ok. Just let me change."
He crawls back into his room and changes his pyjamas into some sport clothes.

„Oh, hey Peter! Did you change your mind?"-„Mr Stark said, it's pretty funny down here so we decided to go here."
Tony and Steve are sitting on the sports bar, talking about business, while Clint, Scott, Steve, Sam and Peter are doing some funny exercises.

When they're ready, they take a drink before going upstairs. The training worked.
As everybody was talking, they are a bit confused, why Peter's so quiet. Up until they look to him: the teenager's sitting in the chair, cuddling up and sleeping.
„FRIDAY, take a picture."-„Picture taken, boss."
They pick him up and bring him into his room, where he hopefully gets some sleep.
