The next few days nasa bahay lang si Amara. She cleaned the house and practiced some songs. Mamaya kasi ay may gig siya kaya she spent all afternoon playing, and doing anything else just to feel productive. Others were also still busy with school, but tomorrow they'll be going out for drinks.
Night soon came and she was at the rooftop. Madami nang tao sa Jacinta and she can see Dolores moving around a lot. Pati si Vanessa ay tumutulong din.
She started playing. Marami nang nakatingin dito, and she can see some unfamiliar faces pointing, probably recognizing who she was.
She hated those nicknames.
It was unfair because she had to endure the aftermath of it. She know that she wasn't at fault pero somehow she still feels guilty.
She fed Sam before heading to wash herself. She was feeling a little more tired than usual. Sobrang dali niya nang mapagod lately. Dati hindi rin siya madaling matipsy. She could even drink all night. Baka siguro dahil tumatanda na ako, but I was still young!
After washing up ay pumlakda na siya sa higaan. She heard Sam purr, and she knew that meant that Sam wanted to sleep with her.
"Good Night Sam, let's hope tomorrow will be a better day."
"Leila, nangako ka diba! Ano nanamang rason mo?" Amara can hear the disappointment in Zera's voice.
"Yeah. Okay." tipid na sagot ni Gavin. His frustrations were becoming more visible. Pati sina Dranreb ay nakahalata na. He was frowing the whole time he was talking to Leila. He sighed. It was taking a toll on all of them already. Amara can't say the same for her, but she was concerned as well.
Ang kanya lang naman kasi, maybe she really needed time by herself to fix things. Alam niya sigurong mabigat na emotional baggage ang kasama if they tried to help.
But maybe it was also because Amara really don't want to stress about it. They weren't that close anyway, pero they are friends.
The weather was doing its thing on her body. The cold made her feel weak. That wouldn't stop her from drinking, though, kaya sasama parin siya ngayon.
They wanted to meet up today dahil tapos na ang hell week nila. It's officially their winter break. It was the last day of November too.
"Nandito na si Sage," She informed them.
[Nasa dulo kami]
