The key to find hope

You anxiously pace around the room as you think of what to do.

You are not sure how you're going to do it, but you know this for sure.

You're going to find Hoseok.

What you hadn't realized however, is that the key to finding him has been with you all along.

That's right!

You tell yourself, remembering the object Hoseok dropped some time ago.

Hurrying to your drawer, you quickly rummage around until you find it, lifting it up in victory once you do.

How come you didn't think of this before?

Shaking your head, your brows furrow together when you press the power button but the screen remains dark.

It's dead.

Without thinking much about it, you reach for your charger, frowning again when the cable doesn't fit.

It was to be expected, but you are not going to give up so easily.

I will find him.

You tell yourself again, rushing towards your parents room to see if their cables fit.

No luck either.

Come on, come on, think...

"I'm going out for a bit!" You announce.

"Be careful!"

With a nod, you rush out the door, heading to the nearest convenience store.

They are bound to have a charger here. You tell yourself, briefly greeting the cashier before you head to your goal, smiling when you find a cable that fits.

As you walk by the isles of the small convenience store, you don't fail to notice how empty the store looks.

Resources are starting to run low and people are panicking, you might as well buy some supplies while you are at it.

You were out almost as fast as you came in, your gaze fixed on the fog above as you exit.

Today it doesn't seem to be as thick as others days. But no matter how much it changes, it never goes away.

Biting your lip as you wait for the screen to turn on, sighing in relief when it does.

It feels wrong to look into his phone without his consent but you hope he understands.

Please, please, please give me a clue.

You beg, tightly shutting your eyes as you wait for a clue.

And there it is. Blue and glowing with glory, the location marked as home in his phone.

This is it!

This is where Hoseok must be! It has to be!

While you wait for his phone to charge, you begin to prepare a few things.

Okay, so now you got the location and a bag packed for the trip. What else do you need?

You could use some help along the way, and there is only one person that comes to mind.

With a small smile, you reach for your phone, dialing his number without hesitation.

After a few rings, he finally picks up.

"Hello?" Your friend's voice comes from the other end of the line, the sound bringing a warm smile to your face.

"It's been a long time....

Yoongi."

Hi loves! Hope you are doing well! Thank you for reading and showing interest in this story even though updates have been slow. To be honest, I struggled a bit to write it but now I'm back on track. I've got a few chapters planned ahead so hopefully I'll have more updates for you.
