Chapter four |Twists and Turns|

Aspen's POV

I tossed and turned all night I could barely sleep, I finally gave up, I grabbed my phone and texted Sophia.

"Hey you up?"

"Yeah I couldn't sleep, what's up?"

"Oh um just moody and a lot on my mind I just wanted to talk to someone."

"Oh yeah i'm here, is everything alright with you and your boyfriend?"

"Yeah, yeah it's just me problems. How's it going for you?"

"Oh um I broke up with him and now me and my best friend are together. He's the best!"

"Aw i'm glad! Thanks for sticking with me by the way."

"Yeah of course you're my bestie."

I smiled.

"Well I should probably head to bed, I have plans tomorrow It's my mom's 8 year anniversary since she's died."

"Oh i'm so sorry."

"Don't be it's alright. Thanks again and goodnight sleep well."

"Of course and you too, goodnight"

I sighed, put my phone down and layed in bed staring at the ceiling till I fell asleep.

-the next morning-

I woke up with a startle from a tapping on my shoulder. I turn around and it was Sebastian. "Hey babe what are you doing here?" I said confused.

"You um.." He said under his breath.

"What's going on?" I look around all I saw was doctors, nurses, IV'S, tools for surgery and so much more. What the hell? I say in my head. I grabbed the sheets off of me and try getting out of my bed. I was too late, Sebastian pushed me back down lightly.

"Hey! No you can't leave Aspen." He said in a little harsh voice.

I sat there frozen. What the hell is going on? That's all I could ask myself. I start shaking like crazy as I grab Sebastian's hand and slip it through mine holding it as tight as I could. He could see tears coming down from my eyes, he wiped them and kissed my forehead as he scooted me over and layed next to me.

"Explain everything please." I said sobbing.

"Are you sure you want to hear?" He asked.

"Y-y-yes" I struggled to talk.

"Okay. You went to bed and when your dad went to wake you up your heart wasn't beating at all nothing was on or functioning." He replied as he started tearing up. "Mya, you were practically dead." He could barely say under all the crying.

"I was dead?! I was DEAD?!" I yelled putting my head in his chest, as I layed there balling my eyes out.

-a few hours later-

Hey, you should get some rest." Sebastian said softly then took a few strands of my hair and put them behind my ear as he showed me the time. It was 2 am Friday, May 19th 2016. And I practically died yesterday. I just stared at the wall for hours. I didn't know what to do.

"No, i'm too scared, Sebastian." I said quietly.

"It's okay i'm gonna be here the whole time until your better i'm not leaving your side. Okay?" He said looking into my bright but warm green eyes.

I kissed him. "Thank you. And alright i'll try." I got up and gave him a hug then went back laying on his chest. A few minutes later I fell asleep
