THIRD PERSON POV
As Leo mentioned, the group took separate cars. Aria and Leo in one, while Steven, Damon, and Dominic took another. As shitty as Aria felt about what Damon said, she also knew she couldn't put her whole life on pause over it. She had an obligation now, and she needed to be informed of the war.
When they pulled up to a nightclub and walked in a hallway with six different doors, she was slightly confused but she didn't mention anything. She also felt extremely out of place wearing a pair of black ripped jeans, with a white sweater and oversized denim jacket, and being the only female there didn't make her feel any better either. Every man there was wearing suits as if they didn't own any other article of clothing.
Leo mentioned something about this place being an eye or something, but she wasn't really paying attention. She was tired and really wanted to go to sleep, but here she was.
There were other people in the room and she had no idea who they were, nor did she feel a need to know. She just wanted to know what they were discussing and then get into bed.
She avoided eye contact with Damon and Dominic, not wanting to spoil her mood anymore for the night. She didn't hold as much anger towards them as she did before, it was more sadness than anything, with a twinge of loneliness.
It seemed to her that no matter who she was with or where she was, she stood out like she didn't belong. Damon and Dominic didn't want her, in this room of men, she stood out severely, even with her friends when they went on and on about things going on in school, she didn't get it because she wasn't focusing on school as much anymore. Being in this room just made the feeling all the more prominent.
Leo sat at the head of the table with Aria on his right side and Steven on his left. Damon and Dominic sat next to her, much to her disapproval, while the other men sat in seats around the table.
"Let's get started with the meeting," Leo spoke and everyone became silent.
"Don, this meeting is closed to the council only, and yet an outsider sits here," one of the men spoke, and Aria could only roll her eyes, already fed up with this.
She cleared her throat, "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Aria. This is my boyfriend Leo, this is my future father-in-law Steven, this is my new father Dominic, and this is my twin brother Damon. I'm sure that should clear up any problems with me being here."
The way the men's faces there fell as she mentioned how she was connected to the four most powerful men in the room almost made her laugh. She enjoyed it so much, that she didn't pay much attention to the fact that she acknowledged Damon and Dominic as her brother and father.
The men's smirks grew, and Leo's was the biggest. "Any more objections to her being here?" He asked and no one uttered a single word.
"Okay," he began, "we currently have David Moon in our custody and are going to begin extracting information from him because of his involvement with the Russians. We might not get much depending on how close he was to the higher up members, but we can hopefully figure out who we're dealing with."
"We also figured out that we are dealing with some sort of ex-lover, we must keep our options open to both women and men who could've-" Aria began, but was cut off by one of the men.
"Men? There's no way," the man scoffed.
"There is a way," she replied.
"If you're insinuating-" he began, and Leo's jaw clenched as he went to speak up, but she placed her hand on his arm to let him know she would take care of it.
