Leo continued doing his work at his desk while I sat, on my own chair this time, next to him to work on my homework. That was until I got hungry and I made Leo get us some food, but instead of leaving the office, he had someone bring up our lunch. For about four hours we hadn't left the office and I was getting antsy from sitting in the same room for so long.
I was bored of my homework and I was bored of sitting on my phone and mindlessly scrolling through social media. I was currently laying on the sofa that Leo had up against one of the walls in his office, but even the black leather sofa was uncomfortable.
"Leo, you weren't kidding when you said you would be spending most of your life in this office," I huffed, hanging off the couch in boredom with my head towards the floor and my feet towards the ceiling.
"I never lie, sweetheart," he said without looking at me while he continued to read over some papers.
I huffed again at the lack of attention he was giving me, "I'm so bored."
At this he put the pen he was holding down and looked up at me, "What do you suggest we do to fix that?"
I turned my body so I was sitting upright and I walked over to his desk, "I don't know, can we go somewhere. Do something? I'm dying of boredom over here Leo." I took a seat on the desk and threw my hands up in frustration.
He sat back in his chair, letting out a low chuckle, "You've barely been here for a couple of hours, you can't possibly be that bored already."
"Leo, I'm a hard woman to entertain, you know this," I pointed out to him.
"You're right, but I also have work to do," he said before picking up his pen and going back to work.
I narrowed my eyes at him, I was bored and I had nothing else to do and he didn't care.
"Leo please?" I asked him, but he ignored me.
So I decided to try again, "Leo, please?"
He kept ignoring me so I decided to start poking him, "Leo, I know you can hear me. Can we please do something?"
This man had an amazing focus because his eyes did not once wander off of his paper. I huffed in annoyance.
"Fine, I guess I'll go see if anyone else in the office wants to hang out with me," I told him, smirking because I knew this would get a reaction out of him.
His head shot up and he grabbed my arm, "No you're not."
Finally some attention, "Why not? I'm sure they'd show me the attention that you're not giving me." I smirked at the anger on his face.
He stood up and walked around the desk so he was standing in front of me. He looked like a predator about to catch his prey by the way he stalked towards me, his eyes never once leaving mine. His eyes were darker than normal, but this just made my excitement increase. Finally he was right in front of me; he leaned over so we were face to face and his hands gripped the edge of the desk.
"Aria, it appears to me that you've forgotten who I am," he said in an eerily calm voice. Most people would probably be terrified by the man in front of me, however, I was more turned on than anything else. Something about scary, mafia Leo made me hot.
"Have I?" I smirked at him, playing along.
He leaned down even more until his lips were next to my ear, "I think I have to remind you again."
His voice was husky and sent shivers down my spine. I could feel his smirk at my reaction.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, "Then do it."
