He left and she went straight to her room, she was in no state to fall asleep on the sofa and wake up with a sore neck. Ferit's kiss had left her tense but she could feel her chest and cheek had blushed as well, slowly she would learn to appreciate his touch she thought. She looked through her bag and only just realised her notebook was in there. She knew she hadn't put it in her bag so Can would have; she wondered if he had read through it hoping there was nothing in there he shouldn't read. She sat up in her bed, her back against the bed head. Memories of the past 2 days flowing her mind, the workshop, the school, the kids surrounding Can, their smiles... his touch, his looks, his voice... Sanem jolted herself out of her reverie... suppressing the feelings growing in her stomach when his image was appearing in front of her.

S: ''Sanem! Sanem! Ah! The guy is threatening to kill you and here you are thinking of him half naked!'' She laid and pulled a pillow over her head, instantly regretting the pressure on her bruises.

Can was at his father's desk when he received the message – Ferit leaving apartment 17B- he felt relief the man was out of her home but made sure to ignore it. His father called.

C: ''dad! How are you?''

A: ''better now that I am on my way back!''

Can was dreading his father's return, life was always more complicated with Aziz around, he had no patience and accepted no doubt nor failure... except from Emre. They talked for a few minutes and finished the conversation.

Mo: ''Emre is in a bad spot Can...''

Can snorted at the comment, unable to sympathise.

Mo sat across from him, rested his forearms on the desk and bent forward.

Mo: ''Can, what are you doing with this girl?''

C: ''I'm not sure she is on our side...''

Mo: ''we both know this is not the only issue here... You need to stay focused Can...'' It was the second time he was told so after his martial art master made the same comment.

C: ''I am focused; Sergei is sorted... Cape Verde is running smooth, Emre is my only issue right now.''

Murat was forcing Sanem to spend a week home to rest which was highly annoying to her, she was craving to go back to work and spent the next day emailing and calling Deren until Deren herself told her off and demanded she rests. Levent called her in the afternoon, inviting himself in with dinner. He arrived after work, ringing her doorbell.

S: ''Levent, come in!'' Levent took a good look at her face and frowned.

L: ''Sanem... what kind of car were you in?''

S: ''a crappy one...'' she chuckled and turned toward the kitchen to avoid lying in his face. He propped the bags of take away on the counter and sat on a stool while she took some plates out.
