(TW: Stimming, Mentions of mental illness/disabilities)
(Sorry that this is a shorter chapter! I'm only going off one short (ish) idea this time!! Hopefully I'll make up for it with the next chapters! plus i've been writing all day and I'm tired but I REALLY liked this idea)

Grace was out selling papers, shed changed her spot, it was a much quieter area of Manhattan which helped her confidence in speaking. She took a small break to decompress from talking to people.  She was sitting against a building, patting her knee as she looked around a little.

She spotted Davey and Cora, she wanted to say Hello but she was worried they both thought she was weird. She pulled a paper from her bag and read through it a little. She heard Davey and Cora chatting, but didn't pick up much of what they were saying, genuinely interested in the article she was reading.

What she did catch was Cora kiss Davey's cheek and he flapped his arms a little, he only had done so thinking it was just him and Cora around. Grace gasped a little as she watched.

"He...He stimmed!! I'm not the only one!! Maybe his brain is wired like mine!"

her feet tapped excitedly at the thought of someone else being like her. She always felt like the odd one out...She was usually the only one with stims, the one who got made fun of for her panic attacks and sensory overloads...but maybe now...this could change.

She got even happier seeing that when Davey placed a very light kiss on Coras forehead and she did a happy sway.

"two people like me?! Maybe this job wont be too bad...and maybe, just maybe she could make two friends..."

She thought about going to talk to them about it but she didn't have the confidence in her voice or conversational ability to do it without making it sound rude. She'd work out how to say it over the coming days, she made it her top priority. She was sick of being all alone, she was gonna do her best to make that stop.

She'd do this one way or another, no matter the strain it put on her mentally...she couldn't go another 15 years by herself...
