" It's been several months since that exam and now I can barely even bite an apple. "

The male canine slumped into his seat while the panda and the smaller wolf watched him ramble to himself. Legoshi pushes himself onto his elbows, caging his head, " Maybe I'm just getting old. "

" Really? If you're considered old then Gouhin is considered as close to death. " (Y/n) snickered to herself, receiving a smack on the head from her father for her comment.

Gouhin rolled his eyes before turning to the large male, " Think real hard on what you've been through since that exam. " The father-daughter duo stared blankly at the male canine waiting for his response.

Legoshi remained in deep silence, trying to force out a memory out of last year of what had happened after that exam.

" I took that exam in spring, I think I met (Y/n) a few days later. " He reminded himself which earned two nods from the bystanders, his girlfriend then chirped, " I also had to tackle you from eating the bitch. "

Legoshi cocked his head to his girlfriend, " I thought you were nice to her. "

" If I'm not I get expelled, I don't got much of a fucking choice. " She folded her arms to her chest as she explained then reached for her drink, pushing it to her lips.

Gouhin grumbled loudly, retrieving the attention onto him and he sighed, " So (Y/n) is the trigger behind your changes, right? Your weakening jaw must be related. "

The female canine shook her head side to side to disagree with the theory, which was rare for her to actually use knowledge but then again; she was in the top five for highest grades in the academy.

She was smart just in a way, slow.

" His temptations from the past were the issue, you old man. Which resorted him to not only pushing himself to protect himself and I but the herbivores around because of what happened with his friend. I'm not the issue, for someone with a degree and went to med-school, you sure are dumb. "

Gouhin and Legoshi stared at her with disbelief,
for the first time; she actually sounded smart.

The female shoved her face into her palm, narrowing her eyes around the bar that they were sitting in, " So his desire for meat is long gone. "

Legoshi continued to sigh and whine about his weak jaw then he took notice, " Erm.. " calling out for the panda who hummed, allowing him to know he was listening.

" Gouhin, you haven't taken a sip of your beer, why is that? "

(Y/n) nodded her head in agreement, reaching across the table for the large glass that contained beer, " If you won't drink this, I will. " She announced, pushing it to her lips and chugged a large amount with the two males staring with deadpan.

The panda rolled his eyes, " It's good that you noticed, and you haven't taken a drink either unlike someone. "

The female lifted her head to reveal the ice cream from the beer float above her lip like a mustache.
Again smart, just really slow.

" Anyways, why do you think I brought you two to this black market bar? We're working right now. "

Legoshi flinched at the thought of working Gouhin's job which was more than just having simple patients who turn themselves in; he does the catching.
