authors note; i am sorry for the two weeks of no update, i have finally entered senior year and i've already been stacked with work. but i'm going to work this weekend as i have three days off so please bare with me :) thank you !

After some thinking, they both thought that the only way to truly understand Riz was to do his previous actions. Eat something that was alive but of course,

The sounds of claws scratching against tree bark was only heard once Legoshi peeled the tree with (Y/n) watching closely behind with monotone expressions. Their fur both blew softly with the breeze.

He eyed the tree before hearing small shuffling, he gave a side glance at his girlfriend who was stepping to crouch beside him. He dug his hand, ruffling into a patch of leaves on the ground and gripping it into his large hand. He opened his hand, exposing the small larvae laying in his palm.

The male held it close to her and she cringed, " Get that fucking thing away from me. "

" But.. But, why? "

" I rather throw myself out of a damn helicopter without a parachute than to have that near me. "

Her eyes landed on the small insect, internally groaning at the estranged sight. She pushed the plastic container towards the male who slowly added the bugs into it.

He wanted to understand the bear, the adrenaline that ran through his thick veins when he devoured his friend.

Legoshi rises to his natural height, extending his hand to capture her small palm in his. The two began walking towards the clinic with small chatter, " Legoshi, are you sure you'd want to eat the bugs? You like them. "

The male nodded his head with a blank face, " I need to know what he feels. "

" No, you don't- "

" Yes, I do. "

(Y/n) frowned at her boyfriend, turning her head away to not spare him a single gaze which he sighed abruptly for. The two continued walking, he tried to communicate with her but she remained monotone with plain responses. He finally gave into the silence, feeling guilty for cutting her off.

Legoshi stared at their hands, so he paused in his tracks which forced her to stop with him too and he looked at her straight in the eye, " I'm sorry, (Y/n). "

Her feet shuffled under her but she stepped towards him and pecked his lips, " Cut me off again and you won't have a dick anymore. " She threatened which made him glance down at his pants but nod in agreement.

The couple walked handed in hand before she instinctively paused in her tracks to eye a specific bush,

her berry bush.

(Y/n) looked at the plant, admiring its form that it took over the years that it held place. The woods they stood in was close to the city and she remembered this place as it brought back sad truths. She pointed at it with a mutter, " Berry Bush. "

Legoshi turned his head to face the plant, nodding his head, " Berry bush. " He repeated, not sure on what he was supposed to do with the information when it was obvious it was a berry bush then it hit him- that berry bush.
