Legoshi's hoodie slipped down to his side with his eyes kept on the two behind Riz. In a swift motion, he tossed his jacket onto the bear's face- blinding him with darkness and tossed himself onto the pavement before throwing his leg up to kick his opponent on the head.

The brown bear stumbled onto the ground as the male wolf dashed over to the pair, dragging them out of sight.

Riz shook off the hoodie from his face, kneeling on the concrete with heavy pants escaping his lips while glancing around the area to find the canine.

" Where did he go? " He mumbled silently.

The intense train maneuvering on the tracks toppled their footsteps, the whistle of the bullet vehicle zoomed into the tunnel that was placed in its direction.

(Y/n) covered her ears with her eyes squinting at the immense ear screeching noise that drove her insane and on the brink to be deaf. The two males watched her dig her face to her knees that were against her chest before sighing in relief once the train was gone.

" Good thing that train masked the sound of our footsteps. '' Legoshi announced, lifting his head to the sky as he tried to take a moment to breathe once more.

His eyes flickered onto his girlfriend, leaning forward and cupping her cheeks before slamming his lips onto hers. The red gore that he didn't know if it were his or Riz smeared onto her forehead but they didn't care.

He was alive- And he will continue to stay that way.

Legoshi slowly pulled away, running his thumbs over her cheeks that now drenched with tears that just won't stop. (Y/n) tried wiping away her face with her back hand but they kept falling. " I'm sorry, I'm late. " She whispered.

Her boyfriend shook his head, " No, no, it's okay. See I'm fine. "

The female's head slowly leaned against his chest, mumbling, " What are you going to do now? " Louis nodded his head in agreement to that question, also concerned for his junior's well-being.

Legoshi just sighed, turning his head away to feel his girlfriend pick up her head from his form and he shrugged his shoulders- he didn't even know himself. He just needed to continue whether he dies or not, his death will not be in vain.

" It's okay now. Thank you for coming to see me. "

(Y/n) and Louis both watched him confused, watching his lips twitch to a soft smile with his knee raised and his elbow propped for support, " I can't help but smile.. I'll never have another new year's eve like this again. "

They all take a moment to take in what a night they all had. There's definitely going to be win's and definitely loses but that's what's going to make this New Year's special- they will not let any holiday like this occur once more.

This day holds meaning, it holds recollection of their morals and what they cost just to be in this exact moment.

" Well, you're both finally here and I've told Riz everything I wanted to tell him and all that's left for me is to finish the job. " Legoshi smiled sheepishly, gripping his knees which received deadpanned expressions from the other two.

(Y/n) leaned her body forward with a stoic expression, " Let me help you. "

Her plea only received a shake of head from her boyfriend, declining her request as he leaned back to rest his form, " It's my fight and I told Gouhin, you won't go out there. " He whispered which made her knit her eyebrows out of frustration.
