Sesshomaru x Reader- Fanfiction

Chapter 4

"Hah!" you sliced your sword, cutting the tree in half. You grinned. It seemed like you were finally getting the hang of it. After all weeks of training it was paying off. You sheathed the blade, looking over at the trees you'd struck.

"That's enough for today." You were starting to get tired anyway, and you didn't want Inuyasha getting worried. Heading to the small trail next to the waterfall, you decided to get a drink before you head back.  When you got to the opening, you sat at the edge with the little lake. Dipping your hand into the water, you splashed your face a couple times before taking a drink. Cupping your palms, you bent over to sip the water. It was refreshing after all the work you put in. "Fwahh! So good!" 

"It's childish to get excited over such things." you darted three feet into the air.

"WHAT THE HELL STOP DOING THAT!" you were furious, Sesshomaru literally sneaked up on you every chance he got. You stood at the side, watching Sesshomaru who just looked at you with his usual conceited expression.

When you calmed down you were just giving him a dirty look. "What do you want, Sesshomaru."

"You insist on referring to me so disrespectfully. " Did he really think you were going to grovel at his feet like Jaken.

"Bite me!!"

"Is that a challenge." you paused, blinking to see if you actually heard right. He couldn't have been..flirting with you. That was crazy. He smiled, and you felt a chill run up your body.

"What the...." you had no idea what was going on with him, but you didn't like it when he smiled. It was way too creepy. You backed away. "I-I'm gonna go." you mumbled turning quickly. In a split second he was standing right in front of you. You staggered back at the sudden appearance.

The action made you step off the little path, heading straight for the water. Sesshomaru grabbed a hold of your arm, preventing the fall. When you were back on stable ground, you just stared at him, looking down at where his hand was still very much holding you. "Ummm..." he didn't move to pull his hand away. Now you were a little bit alarmed. Why was he acting so weird around you now.

"Y-You can let go now."

"Why? Does it make you uncomfortable?"

You flushed. "N-No why the hell would it. I-Its just awkward. " He took another step closer, and now you were finding it hard to be angry with him. Sesshomaru was looming over you, topaz eyes just marking your every move. The way he observed you made you weary. You were that more confused. "W-What's going on!!" your mind was reeling."

"Why is it that I'm drawn to you, at first I assumed it was because you were weak. And I wanted to study how such a human had survived so long. Yet, I keep finding myself looking your way." His statement had your heart increasing. Was he being for real. He couldn't be.

"I...I what are you saying.." this was getting a little too crazy. Maybe you passed out at some point from exhaustion. And you were laying somewhere dreaming. That seemed a lot more rational than what was going on at the moment. You looked down, hands trembling slightly. Your cheeks were quickly getting red.

"P-Please let go..."

Sesshomaru paused, taking in how vulnerable you sounded at that moment. He was so accustomed to your fiery temper. Since he'd met you'd never shown weakness, especially in front of him. He released your hand, and you pulled it to your chest in hopes of dealing with the strumming of your heart.

"W-Why am I getting so worked up. He's obviously just messing with me."

Sesshomaru was bored, and maybe toying with you to pass the time.

That had to be the reason behind his sudden interest in you. "I'm not about to be anyone's entertainment." your eyes hardened, and you square your feet drawing your sword. "I-If you ever do that again I'll make you regret it!" you threatened. Sesshomaru's eyes narrowed. "Is that so." your hand was trembling at the fact that he didn't look the least bit phased. If anything he looked a little more motivated. He took one step forward, and you found that you were now a little scared. "D-Don't!!" your words faltered.

He still kept walking forward, and you were moving back. Your arms lowered, no longer as confident as you were before. When your back hit a tree, your eyes trembled.

"S-Sesshomaru.."

He reached for you, on instinct you shut your eyes, not too sure what to expect. When you felt his palm on your cheek, every muscle in your body stilled. When your eyes reopened, he was right in front of you. The sword slipped from your grasp, clattering to the floor. Your hand reached behind, gripping into the tree. "I'm not going to hurt you." you gulped at his tone.

"I-I know that I just...back the hell up!" you shouted. He moved in closer and your breath hitched.

"Is this better." you frowned at his words.

"I said ba-" he closed the small space, and your body shut down. You just stood there, wide eyed and stiff. Sesshomaru's eyes were closed as he kissed you. Now that he was so close, you could see every feature. The colored markings on his skin, thick eyelashes, soft lips...

When he pulled back, his eyes opened to take in your stunned expression. Your lips were parted, not completely sure if anything was real anymore. He licked his bottom lip, and you jumped, grabbing up your sword.

"Y-YOU PERVERT!!!" you screamed, clenching the blade into your chest as you took off sprinting back to the village. As you were running, your fingers grazed your lips. Your entire body felt like it had just been set aflame. You slapped your cheek a couple times to try and rid your mind of the kiss.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid bastard Yokai!!"
