She lifted up her raven eyes meeting his gaze, taunting him further. His flaring eyes narrowed.
"Do you really think..." He slowly unsheathed the sword. "I, the emperor, will never kill you?"
She lifted her chin up, proudly. "Go on, kill me. And kill your son that I'm carrying within me."
His hand faltered, the sword trembling."You're lying," he hissed, but she could see the flicker of doubt in his eyes.
"Am I?" She smirked. "Are you willing to take that chance?"
