SEPTEMBER 27 a date that I would never forget. A day I thought would be like any other

But, How wrong I was

Why? I'll start a few hours before the moment that changed my life ever happened

10:36 pm

I came out of the shower, wearing an oversized tshirt and lose pajamas, sighing wistfully  while I took my hair tie off from my once messy bun styled hair. I let my locks fall by itself on my shoulder. Taking comfort to the way it made the nape of my neck feel warm

I hanged the towel on the handle of my closet and sat on the chair in front of my study desk; turning on my laptop in the process. From downstairs I heard my mom call out my name since she was about to leave the house for her work. I shouted out a quick 'goodbye' before hearing the door slam shut

Once the sound of the car engine slowly left, I slumped back a little on my chair

I was alone again

I quickly shook my thoughts away and wore my headphones

My mom worked during the night shift at the office. She had no problem leaving me at home since she claims that I was already a grown up. I knew how to take care of myself and the house when she's not around. It's always been her and me for a long time and as for my father; he already have his own family, after he and my mother got divorced he moved out of the country and remarried, not even giving him a chance to talk to me before he leaves

I apologize for that .. it's just the prologue and I'm already telling you a lot of information to take in, I assure you this story isn't depressing as my life.. anywayyyys
