I RESTED A HAND under my chin and aggressively sipped on my juice box. After emptying it in less than a second I swallowed the remaining content, the taste of (favourite flavour) still lingering on my tongue
"What did the juice do to you" my brother asked, not bothering to look away from the book in his grasp, I inspected the book cover and snickered in amusement— I shouldn't be surprised that it's about the stone age, specifically dinosaurs.
I leaned back on my seat and stretched my arms out
"I'm bored" I pushed out my bottom lip and lazily laid my head on my desk, waiting for him to acknowledge my complaint. The chattering of our classmates grew louder. It was our time for recess, those who finished their meals played with their friends. Instead of playing with mine I stayed rooted in my seat, feeling somewhat inactive
"Hangout with your friends, then" I sagged even more in my chair, sensing from his tone that he didn't really care about what I was worrying about
I finally stood up from my seat, the sound of the chair scraping the floor had earned the attention of my brother. He thought I was going to my friends so he paid no mind to what I'm doing, but when he noticed that I was almost skipping to the door..
"Oi! Where are you going?" My brother raised his voice a little, now ditching the book. I smiled at him and did a sailor moon pose
"On an adventure!" I exclaimed, both my classmates and brother sweatdropped at the sight. When he was about to stand up from his seat I shut the door gently, laughing at the expression he made when I closed it
"Hmm.. so what adventure then?" I mumbled under my breath, the light bulb inside my head tinkled as it switched on
"This is a good time to look for Yamaguchi, but which class is he in again?" The corner of my lips twitched into a smile as I started skipping to check every classroom out
