The Lockdown Effect

The whimsical Tay Tawan

Tay had been working a lot in recent weeks.

It was as if the whole world was in chaos and he was in his own little bubble.

Lee had gained increasing popularity.

A new series to record had started for Lee and gotten to join Joss and Bright and Win at Idolo.

Everything had changed in recent months.

Tay would rather spend as much time with Lee as possible, but it had turned out to be easier said than done.

The moving inn too be closer part had not really changed.

It still felt like it was a whole world in between them.

Even though they now were under the same roof.

Tay reached out to grab the guitar, strumming it.

Tay had tried to focus on his friends since Lee had got more work too do.

Tay felt that it was hurting him not being able to be around Lee and get full attention that he wanted from him.

Again, playing around.

Pretending he was not serious

He leaned back in the sofa, he needed someone to hang with

Anyone, really

At some point he and New had even made up

The Idolo event had helped.

Telling Arm everything had made things easier to deal with.

Now everyone knew.

And everyone was as confused as Tay

Were they together or just friends messing around?

Lee had not been back home since he had started working

When they meet however it was like noting could keep them apart.

No one answered their phones or messages from Tay.

The frustration that hit in made Tay wanting to lay down

Closing his eyes

In the distends he could hear a car door slam shut. Tay looked around there was no car where he was. Only trees and a river that was as red as the sky above him.

He could hear a phone ringing.

The door to the apartment being unlocked.

He felt a present now.

A weight pushing down his body.

Then it was like he was flying.

Tay wrapped his arms around the neck of the person that had lifted him up.

Pulling himself closer.

Lees faint smell reached him.

He could feel the bed underneath him

Tay could barely keep his eyes open.

He looked at Lee that was laying next to him

Lee kissed him on the cheek before getting back up and leaving the room

Tay didn't know where Lee went

Not even a moment after the door was shut, could he feel his eyes close and Tay fell back into slumber
