"Toru" knew damn well he wasn't. He knew Hajime wasn't even slightly sorry.
But in reality, he was. Iwaizumi felt bad, but only slightly. He just pitied his friend. He was heartless.
After Iwaizumi's cold lie, in the groupchat, it was just the other members apologizing one by one, like some 6th grade bullies after getting told off to the principal.
Toru left the chat and opened his one-way lover's texts.
"I'm sorry" was all he could see through his tears.
Oikawa deleted the app, forcing away through the wet screen, and sobbed for the rest of the night.
