You stand awkwardly in a corner of the coronation ball. You'd think more people would want to talk to the new queen but apparently not. You silently sip your wine in peace.
"Good evening my darling," your husband purrs into your ear as he walks up behind you.
"Hello your majesty," you chuckle, turning round to face him. He takes your drink from you and places it on a table.
"Now there's no need to formalities between us," he smirks and places his hands on your waist.
"I know but it's funny," you smirk back and wrap your arms around his neck.
"What do you say we leave this wretched ball?" He kisses your cheek.
"Loki you know we can't, it's a ball for you. Your first act as king can't be leaving it,"
"Then will you at least dance with me? I can't have my beautiful queen watching from the shadows," he holds your hand and leads you towards the dance floor.
"One dance," you smile at him and allow yourself to be lead forwards.
"Darling you might want more," Loki replies in a low tone as he places one hand on your waist while the other pulls your hand up to eye level.
"You'll just have to make sure you're available for more then," you move your feet with his and allow him to lead you through the music.
"Everyones looking at you," you whisper shyly.
"Believe me, they're looking at you my queen," Loki grins down at you and chuckles.
