A date with you

Before we start the story, I wanna say: I'm sad

I have like, nine or so days of summer left to enjoy, so I won't be very active on Wattpad. :((
Also Imma be ending this story soon. Sorry you guys! I'll be making a new story, though. I'm trying to improve my writing skills, because reading some of my chapters over, I notice grammar mistakes and typos. 😑

Flashback:: Fan's P.O.V.
So uh, I asked paintbrush out...and they said YES!! I was in so much shock, I actually pinched myself to see if was dreaming or not. BUT IT WAS REAL!! :))) Oh gosh, I've never so thrilled in my life before! They told me to meet them at some cafe at 3:00 p.m. so I did!
Five minutes early! I tried my best to dress fancy, but not too fancy. Do I ended up wearing a hoodie, with some ripped jeans. I had everything ready! The flowers were in one sweaty, trembling hand. And a heart shaped bow of chocolates were in the other sweaty, trembling hand. Holy crap! I was so nervous!!

I looked at the ground. What if they don't come? What if paintbrush just said yes because they didn't want to hurt me? What if they just agreed to troll me? I sighed. But..why would they? After all the stuff we've been through together! I don't think they'd throw that away so quickly! I scratched my head, maybe they got caught up in something that distracted them? Or maybe they took a taxi, or a bus, and they got caught in traffic? I just hope so!

Because if they did troll me, I'm gonna be so mad! But then..I'd be so sad that I'll break down in pools and pools of TEARS! I'd eat pistachio ice cream everyday, because it's the only thing that makes me feel better! Besides blogging of course. I was about to throw the flowers and chocolates in a nearby trash bin, until I heard someone behind me. "Hey! I thought I'd be handling those out!" I gasped, paintbrush HAD come! I wasn't going to waste my twenty three dollars!! :))) paintbrush showed me a shy smile and handed me some flowers and chocolates. I gasped again.

"H-Huh!?" They chuckled, "yeah, I didn't expect you to have those too.." we exchanged items, hugged tightly, and walked over to the cafe...holding hands. UwU.

"So what do you want?" Paintbrush asked after we had found an empty table. The cafe was a bit busy today. "Um, I'll take whatever you get." I smiled. They nodded, "Uh, alright..how does a cup of coffee sound?" I paused for a bit, and came up with three responses: 'wow, painty! You're real boring!' or 'okay, I'll take that!' or 'did you not get coffee this morning?'

I decided to go with the second one, "O-Okay! I'll take it!" Paintbrush laughed, "I'm just joking! How about a pumpkin spice, latte?" They pointed to an item on the menu. I sighed a tiny sigh of relief. "Okay!" They nodded, a waitress went over to us and took our orders. This was going perfectly! "Um, y'know, I kinda thought you wouldn't be coming." I mumbled. Paintbrush raised their eyebrow at me, "Hm? Why wouldn't I?" I shrugged, looking away. "I-I don't know..I guess I'm impatient or something, but I kinda thought you were trolling me or something.."

...

"Fan, look at me." I jumped, they sounded serious when they said that. "Paintbrush?" They set down the menu, looking at me with these deep serious looking eyes. "I'd never do something like that to you..alright?" I could feel the pink creep onto my face. "I-Umm, okay.." they nodded, "I'm not a heart breaker fan, I know why you're insecure." I smiled, and turned away, fiddling with my hair a bit.
"Y'know, it's nice to you care about me.." I said quietly. They smiled, putting a hand onto my shoulder. "That's because I do.."

——— {End of flashback}———

"Ooh! And THEN, what happened?!" Lightbulb was on crack, or on a whole bag of skittles, she'd eaten the whole damn bag. She was bouncing on and off the walls and windows like a maniac. "Lightbulb calm down!" Test tube shouted, trying to grab lightbulb down. Lightbulb was giggling nonstop, but test tube was able to grab her leg and pull her down into a quick kiss. "Sorry about that fan, I shouldn't have have left those skittles lying around." I smiled, "oh, it's fine, anyway! Guess what happened next, testy?!" She raised her eyebrow, "Okay, first of all, I already told you only lightbulb can call me that, and what happened next?!" I grinned hugely, this is the absolute BEST part about my date!

"They kissed me!" I screamed, "they kissed me test tube!" She gapsed, and then clapped her hands, letting go of lightbulb, which was a grave error. She dove out test tube's grasp and bounced out of the room! "Lightbulb NOO!" to Test test screeched, running after her run-away girlfriend. I sighed, I really wanted to continue telling my story, but I couldn't. Because my audience was gone! And that was the ends of my story anyway, after they kissed me, we enjoyed our beverages went to the park, and went on a walk. It was great, being with them. Maybe one day we'd be a great couple! It would
be great! And if paintbrush DOES leave some random bag of any random candy lying around, I'd eat the whole bag! And then they'd be chasing me around! Because I'm almost as crazy as lightbulb is when I'm on a sugar-buzz!

———hours pass———

Test tube's P.O.V.
Whew! I finally caught lightbulb, and I was somehow able to calm her down. She was asleep now, and she looked adorable when she was asleep! I was snuggled up with her, reading a book. But I got bored of reading, because I'm pretty sure I've read this book a bunch of times before. So I just sat there with lightbulb, with the blanket pulled up, and I got real comfortable. My eyelids felt heavy, so I just fell asleep next to lightbulb..

Guys, I have no idea how to end this story. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so uhhhhh, how bout this?

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! For some reason I feel like this chapter was shorter than the other chapters. (Even though it isn't!)
