"You should've been home 20 minutes ago!" My mom yelled
"Sorry, I lost track of time."
"Yeah no duh...Kelly I'm starting to think this whole public school thing was a mistake-"

I locked my phone and worked on some of the homework I got.
That night
It was 9:58 and I saw my Mom's light off from the hallway. I've watch some sneaking out videos on youtube and one girl said because he floor were squeaky and wood she'd army crawl on them. And my floors are the exact same so I walked out of my room and started army crawling to the stairs.

We all waited anticipating if she was coming or not.

"Me too. So what exactly are we gonna do?" She asked
"Just chill, listen to music, talk. Usual shit." Rocky answered
"So why do y'all do it at night. Can you just do it in the evening?"
"It wouldn't be the same." I said and everyone else agreed
