We were finally in New York, that ride was so long, and for what. We got off the plane and my legs felt mad weird. We walked into the airport then some people started running/walking up to us. Mainly for Rocky, Tyler Kali and Steve. I was gonna wait for Steve but there was too many people.
"Um Steve Ima just go find a place to sit."
"Ok I'll be there in 5."
Crystal started walking besides me.
"It usually takes them about 10 minutes to get through all that."
"It's happened before?"
"Hell yeah, all the time. Especially since rocky's hometown is in Harlem this is where most of his fans are."
"Ohhh."
"Come on let's get something to eat, I'm starving."
"Right."
"Mcdonalds?"
"Nah, KFC?"
"Nah."
"Pizza?"
"Yes."
We walked to a little pizza place and stood in line to order.
"So like what are gonna do here?"
"Shii, shop, walk around, party, who knows."
"Cool."
Then my phone started ringing. It was my mom.
"Yo my mom's calling me I'll be right back-"
"But we're next."
"Just get me like a regular cheese pizza."
"Alright."
I got out of line and answered.
K: Hey ma
M: Hey kelly, you in New York yet
K: Yeah just landed
M: Good how was the flight
K: Oh my goodness it was long and cramped
She laughed.
M: That's nothing, I remember when I went to Paris it was like a good 11 hours
K: Wait why'd you go to Paris
M: Basketball
K: Oh I could never
M: I know, but are y'all heading to a hotel now
K: We're gonna catch an Uber and drive down there
M: Ok well just call me tonight alright love
K: Ok mom
M: Bye enjoy yourself
K:Thanks Bye
I hung up and Crystal walked back to my with a small pizza box.
"Thanks girl. Here." I said handing her some money
"Thank you."
"I can't believe they're not done yet." I said looking at everybody else
"I told you it takes about 10 minutes. Maybe more."
"Hm. Well I'm gonna call an Uber or something cause I just wanna get in a bed."
"Alright. Let's sit over here." She said walked to a little bench
I ordered an Uber and it said it should be here in like 5 minutes which isn't bad. We ate our food and finally everyone came back.
"Let me get some." Steve said eyeing my pizza
