3rd person POV

They separated their ways in pairs Mark and lily , Luna and Jassi . First pair heading to east side while the other one to the opposite side. Mark and Luna are more skilled so they always paired separately.

"Shhh !! Stop I heard something".said luna ,stopping Jessi to walk further.

Luna's pov

I heard some movement instantly halting our steps. So that I can pin the direction of voice . My extremely sharp hearing skills are plus point for me. Making this all hunting thing way easier for me.

"This way jassi follow me " I said to her

" but I can't hear a single voice." She whispered near my ear.

"But I can clearly. And you know about my hearing ability".

" Am I deaf or what why can't I hear it. Its always you who leads. I want to give it a try to" . she whined like a 5 year old kid .

I ignored her while continuing my silent steps. And their it was A deer standing still ; munching on some grass ,unaware of our presence .

I directed my arrow towards it. As soon as the arrow was released My eyes on arrow but the thing I saw in front of my sight was not what I expected.

A girl of my age standing with her back towards me. The arrow shot at her back, blood leaking from her clothes her body fall into someones hands and.

Suddenly

MY head start spinning. My eyes getting heavy, my head hurting like hell . And then everything went blank .

Jassi pov

I always wonder how can she sense smallest movement from several miles. I mean she had extra ordinary hearing skills just not hearing her eyesight is remarkable . She just shoot that dear from like a mile and her arrow exactly on the target ,and in split of seconds the dear was on ground. I was so fascinated by her archery . When I looked back at her at the very moment she collapsed. I panicked cause This never happened before. She had never blanked out like this in front of me. In the state of panic , I tried to shake her but her body was not responding. At that time my mind was not in the state to think any other option so I just put her on my back and rushed towards the tree we were intended to meet before sunset .

On the other side Mark and lily were still searching for their prey .

" oh God ,its already been an hour and we havent even get a glance of any deer . let alone hunting one. " said Lily being totally frustrated .

" Calm down you Princess , what do you think hunting is? Its not as easy as you think of it . it requires skill , patience, and right timing. And you actually are not skilled enough and are not being patient and that's why right time isn't coming . So shut up and be quite . So that i can focus. " Mark replied with calm tone but annoyed expression .

" Oh yah , its exactly me who is distracting your focus on these empty bushes or these ants. Or this bear over their.

"Its a--a b-be--bear over the-there ".

She stopped moving her finger pointing to the direction of the beast , eyes fozen to the sight , voice shuttering with fear.

Mark didn't waste the time he stepped back silently pulling the girl with him . her shocked state making it a little hard for him. So he just carried Emily  in bridle style and ran for their lives not looking back and reaching to the spot they left from earlier .
He reached the tree . putting Emily down on her feet and collapsing on the grass to finally breath from this fast run he just had .
Jassi watched them coming . what happened guyes ? Why were you running ? And why were you carrying her?" She asked them in one breathless sentence.

Enough of panic for her .

" we were just about to be the prey of a huge  wild bear . but thanks to your brother. He actually saved both of our lives " Emily said with a shy smile and a tint of blush.
Her eyes layed on luna's body sleeping peacefully. "What happened to her . what time is it to take a nap ".

" She isn't sleeping. She is unconscious. We need to go home as soon as possible . this never happened before. We need to get her to Nomana
". Said Jessi while carrying luna on her back again.
The three of them walked back
home with passed out luna .

" What happened too her ??? " shouted Nomana panic evident on her face . why is she unconscious? She said while checking her pulse .
" I don't know but she just suddenly collapsed " . jassi said with low voice but clear enough that every one heard it .

She woke up in the unfamiliar surroundings, her hands feeling the soft grass ,eyes catching the fascinating sight in front of her . its a lake with clear water. Encircled by the full green grass and beautifull flower plants . Her eyes scanning the place not with the confused expression but the calm one . Soft breeze touching her delicate skin. Giving her the sense of calmness and peace.

She stood up on her feets wanting to explore the place little more. She stepped out of the shadow of a huge tree her eyes examining the tree ,it some how looks familiar.

She sat beside the lake. Watching her shadow in the water. Feeling the peace in her heart .She was just starring at her self in the water suddenly the light near her dims and in the blink of an eye it was night time.

Her eyes now on the reflection of moon in the water. It was big and brighter then usual. Her eyes shifted to her own shadow.....

But

the girl she is starring in the reflection is not her. The unfamiliar yet so familiar figure starring back at her with a smile so genuine . The smile that gave her the warm feeling in her heart .The smile so pure that she had never seen before. Its like she is looking at herself but slightly changed. The figure looks directly in her eyes.  Starring at her with the emotions indescribable . A hint of affection mixed with some distress.

She extended her hand to feel that familiar girl but as soon as her hands touched the water the figure disappeared and suddenly she was pulled in the water her eyes hardly open due to the pressure of water her body being dragged more into the depths . She tried to move upward towards the shore but her body was getting numb due to lack of oxygen and energy .

LUNA !! LUNA BABY open your eyes. What happened baby why are you not breathing properly. Open your eyes sugar . Nomana shook her body in attempt to wake her. With a loud gasp luna open her eyes , breathing heavily. her hand holding tightly on the crystal moon of her pendant .

Baby are you okey ?? Did u had a nightmares. Take a long breath honey , relax I am here right here. Nomana said calming luna while caressing her hair that were now of crystal silver as the moon light shines brightly on them. Her eyes and her appearance changed like every night.

Luna finally calmed down her hands wrapped around Nomana taking her embrace.
They both stayed in this position for some time. A comfortable silence engulfing them .

" Nomana "

" Yes honey "

"you have seen my mother. Right ?

Nomana nodded

Do you remember how she looked like ? Luna asked in her low voice sounding calm and curious"

"Yes , how can i forget her. Everything about you reminds me of her. She was so delicate like you. You resembles her so much . her face features were so pretty her eyes light brown, her lips full, a pointed nose and glowing white skin just like yours. When i found her she was just your age. Although, she was not in good condition but still i can remember her beauty that was so real and her fragile, body. Her straight brown hairs. Everything about her was beautiful and pure."Nomana said with her eyes closed like she was picturing her in her mind .

" I think i--i saw her "
