Here she is sitting on her favorite spot the edge of this huge mountain that is just a bit far from their village . This place is calming no big animals or humans exist on this mountain as this mountain lacks greenery and is a bit steep and hard to climb. So people don't even bother to waste their time to climb such mountain that gives no good. But for Luna this is the best place were she can have a time alone with her mind.

Things aren't the same from last few weeks. These back to back events are making her more confuse , saying that her life was normal before would be incorrect but things like this never happened before . That girl who she though was attacked by her arrow , the dream , her mother,and then this wind event. Everything is new to her. She don't know what all this is leading her to but for sure she want to know exactly where all this will take her.

"Are u daydreaming madam?" A male voice interrupted her thoughts.

She knows who this voice belongs to only her three best friends know about this place and only one of them is male .

"No mister nights are enough for me to dream ". She replied with a smirk not even bothering to look back at the certain male.

"If the dreams are about me then nights are not enough". He said while sitting next to her.

"I thought we were talking about dreams not the nightmare ". she said in a sarcastic tone making both of them laugh.

They sit there in silence for few minutes just admiring the view together.

"Tell me , what is bothering you from the last few weeks i can see you are distress about something. And besides Nomana told us you collapsed yesterday. What happened? Are you okay ? "Mark said breaking the calm silence between them.

"Its nothing to worry about . I was just sick but now i am all good. Luna said with assuring smile."

Mark was not getting it but he just stayed silent . He don't want to force her to open up. Its her choice and he respect it. So he tried to change the
subject.

"Lets race to the village.Who reached the village first wins and the loser will carry the rice bags to the home for both of us".

"Woah !! Now you will do bets on your daily work . btw you are not going to win next to me , mister".

"We will see!! Mark said with a smirk on his face and before luna could answer he was already running leaving her behind with shocked expression.

"You cheaaaterrr " she shouted before running behind him .

They were both running not caring much about the dangerous path they were on .
The steep mountain is not a place to race around but the two of them were not thinking much .

Mark looks back and was shocked with the distance. She was close but not enough to pass him there was still a distance of few meters between them . He tried to speed more but unfortunately his foot straddle on the rock and just before he could hit the floor he felt a pull on his shirt . His heart was beating so fast. He was just about to die wasnt he ??.once he gained the balance He looked back and saw luna watching him with concerned eyes but the color of her was no longer brown.

"Lu-luna yo-your eyes".He stuttered .To say he was shocked would be an understatement.

"What's with them ?" Luna said both of them were heavily breathing. She was confused.

"Stop it you were just about to die where were you looking. What had happened if i wasn't here to catch you". She said with frustration in her voice. Now lets go before it gets late. She started walking past him .

Mark was still not responding he was looking at her eyes ,frozen on his spot .

" your eyes th-they a-are si-silver" Mark finally spoke. And Luna stopped in her track .

" How did you reach me s-so fast ". He added .

Luna didn't turn back to face him. And the second sentence led her to think how was she so fast this is impossible to catch someone in a split of seconds with this much of distance between them .

She rewinds what happened and she for sure have seen his foot to straddle the rock from a distance but in a split of second she was already at his back supporting his shirt.

She don't know how is this happening and why her eyes turned grey. She looked up at the sky their was no moon. The sun is still up its not the time for her transformation. Then how??

She turned back and was just about to explain her self when the expression on mark's face changed again. Now he was double shocked .

"They are brown again !!!!" He nearly shouted. Luna was relieved. She is sure that they changed the color but are now back so she don't have to explain it to him .

"What are you saying mark . They were always brown you must have been seeing things. Don't stress your little mind and follow me we have to be home others must be waiting for us ".

Luna resume her walk .and pretend like nothing happened. She sigh in relief as she hear his footsteps behind her. Thank God it was Mark . If it was Jessi she definitely would have known the truth by now. She thought while walking back to her house.

The days passed and mark has long forgotten about the incident but Luna has it on her mind. Why ? Why her eyes changed. And how she did that. Is this some type of undiscovered power in her or her mind is playing her dirty. But this type of things never happened before with her not even once.

The night came again and like every night luna is sitting on her usual spot her eyes crystal silver glowing in the night reflecting the moon , her hair sets on the floor like silver glowing strips. She has a new question now a new mess going on in her head. And a new demand from The Moon like every other night.

She is engulfed in comfort so soothing a warmth so pleasing a sense of mother comfort. But her mind is still suffering .

She want answers she is craving for them. All this comfort

but she still cant see her

cant touch her

cant talk to her

What is The Moon upto now? What it wants from her? What she should do to see her mother again ? What is her life going to be now ?
