" I think i--i saw her " Luna whispered making Nomana to open her eyes immediately. She looked at her with questioning gaze.

"In my dream .I-I think I saw her". Luna said while detaching her self from Nomana. They both sit there in complete silence no one knows what to say next .

After few minutes of silence Nomana  grabbed Luna's  hand caressing it softly. " Are you okay? " Nomana asked concern obvious on her face .    

" I don't know. All these years i have just felt her presence with me every single night . I don't know if i can say i  felt her love and care for me . I never met her never saw her. But every single night the MOON tells me the stories of her love for me . Every night i have been reminded of her love that is so true for me .Every night he makes me feel that i am in her arms.  Every night he comfort me by giving me in  her embrace but-

but-

hurts me by recalling me that she is with me but not truly with me .I-I never forget her nor her death .

He- he never let me forget it.

Luna whispered  the last sentence. Her eyes set on the moon tears welling up in her eyes .
At this point Nomana was crying too . She engulfed luna in her arms placing soft kisses on her hair caressing her .

"After all these years of this unknown affection . i finally saw her.  I saw how she looked when she died.  I saw how beautiful she was . I saw how clearly i resemble her so much . I saw what i have always dreamed of seeing . I saw what was always missing from my sight . I saw her . I saw my mother .

but

But why ? After all these years why i saw her now ?  Luna said closing her eyes letting her tears fell on her cheeks . The question repeating in her mind .

Now this question was addition to her millions of other unanswered questions. She hoped that one day it( The Moon )  will answer her all these questions . And her mysterious life will turn into normal one.

May be

She wished .

Little did she know her resent question will led her to the answers of all her suspicions .

Time skip

" luna what are you doing. I told you to collect the lavender you are picking the wrong flower honey. "

" oh.. sorry Nomana. I-I was not thinking sorry. I ll go find the lavender. " said luna turning to go deeper in the shade of trees . But was stopped by Nomana. 

" Its okay baby. If u are not feeling well  go home and take some rest. I can do it myself , its not a big task anyways " .

"No ,I'm not sick. I am totally fine.  It's just I can't focus.  I don't know but my mind keeps thinking about the dream". Luna said with a pout on her face giving sad expressions.

"I know honey  I can understand ,Just don't let it bother you so much , as your mind is already a mess and  I don't want my child to go crazy " Nomana said with a playful smile.  Making luna to smile as well.

" Now move your pretty legs and get me some lavender  I need it for the medicine I am currently working on" said Nomana .

" Okay I 'll be back then. " luna said while continuing  her walk in the forest in search of required flowers. 

She has been coming here since her childhood. It's not a big deal for her to go deeper into the forest all alone as she had memorized every path from the jungle to her home.

It's been about an hour now and she is still searching for the said flower. Usually, it is not this hard to find any herb in the jungle but today luck is not on her side and her mind is not working so good too.

" why the hell i cant find that damn flower i had seen it many times in the Jungle but now that i need it, its no where to be found "

She was cursing the flower when suddenly a cold breeze hit her from behind making her pause . She look behind her but their was nothing, not even a single movement even the leaves were still. She was about to continue her steps when again she felt the same cold wind but this time from the front.  The impact of the wind was strong enough to make her eyes close and her hair blown. 

She was again halted in her steps. This sounds normal but this is the mid summer for God sake. Where is this cold wind coming from . she was confused and a bit scared too. she gradually opened her eyes terrified to see something unusual in front of her.  But their was nothing. She continued her walk being alert.  She was now watching her surroundings more keenly as she no longer wanted to stay in the forest all alone. 

Again the wave of cold wind hit her face this time rather harshly jolting her completely . she was now afraid totally terrified she started moving faster her steps getting bigger . flowers long forgotten  she just wanted to exit the jungle as soon as possible.  It was the first time she felt afraid being alone in here.

She chose the short cut . this path was kinda creepy but she can pass it . it will hardly take 10 minutes to her home if she ran from here. 

She was focusing on her path as the wind came again and this time it was not passing but it was spinning around her the leaves moving with the wind making a small tornado around her. 

The sound of the moving leaves in the silent forest was Making the scene  more terrifying.

She was looking in every direction for the escape. She was not in the condition to think anything so she just ran like what any normal person would have done . she ran without  looking behind.

She stopped in front of her house. Losing her control she fall on her knees her body was shivering from fear and lack of breath.

Nomana's pov

Its already been more than an hour and this girl is still not back . I came back half an hour ago  and i have gathered all the required herbs i even found lavender and took them by myself.  She was already gone so i cant call he back now so better wait for her .

I was cutting some vegetables for the dinner  from my backyard when i heard the fast steps . I took a glance towards the door, there Luna was on her knees breathing inappropriately. I  ran towards her calling her name.  She glanced  towards me her eyes teary making my heart ache before i could have reached her. She collapsed on the ground .
