What If Goku was in KOF/Fatal Fury?

Part 2: The Great Battles Ahead! (21st World Tournament: The Preliminaries)

When Paragus realizes they are on another planet, he thanks Goku for wishing them here, and he is intrigued to see a Saiyan as young as him. Goku's not even in his prime yet! Goku then asks if Broly is strong, which Paragus replies that he is. Goku then asks Broly if he wants to spar with him. "W-Well, I'm not the best at fighting...", Broly said, initially not really interested. "Well, I just want to test your potential, that's all. You don't need to go all out!", Goku said, getting into a fighting stance. Broly understood, and he readied himself.

Even though the fight is just a test for Broly's potential, it is very clear that Broly is like no one the group has ever faced. Broly launches sluggish, undirected blows at first, which Goku can easily dodge. Goku then started to launch punches at Broly, but he was barely fazed by them. The fight goes on for a little bit, and Paragus stops his son when his power level gets high. Goku is satisfied, and everyone is shocked that someone like Broly exists. I would put Broly's power level over 9,000, and most likely higher.

Goku and his friends would know about the World Tournament coming up, and would train for it. Mai and Andy would be in the early 100's, while Goku and Leona would be around 140 at the beginning before training. Mai and Andy would train with Broly since he is the strongest there and would give them all the greatest boost in power, while Goku and Leona decide to train with each other for most of the year. During this time skip, Goku would occasionally fight Broly every now and then, so Broly can keep refining his power. Eventually he unlocks the wrathful form, which Goku recognizes is the form that he took when Leona went crazy. Goku would strive to get it, and he and Broly get natural access to it, although both can't hold onto it for long. The only negative that I can see here is Krillin being weaker than in canon, but that's mainly it.

Eventually, the tournament comes, with everyone arriving there; some new characters to boot! One is Andy's brother, Terry Bogard. The group is excited to see him, since they have heard of him from Andy. Another one is a Muay Thai prodigy called Joe Higashi, who Goku is excited to see. He never seen someone use that form of fighting, so it'll be new for him. They then see a red-haired teenager watching a fight with a young man that can use flames versus a blonde American with a pole. The person with the pole is easily defeated, being berated by two figures wearing red. One is in a formal red suit, while the other is just wearing red hakama pants. When the Bogards see him, they realize the face is all too familiar.

"Geese..."

The man then turned around, smiling. "Billy told me you two would be here. Lucky he was right." The man in the formal suit then turned around, sipping a glass of wine. "I am Rugal Berenstein. It seems you two boys have met my friend here, Geese. If you manage to impress me, I might just add you to my collection." Rugal then laughed, as Terry and Andy charged at the two crimelords. Goku's group would have to hold them back so a full-out fight wouldn't ensue, but the announcer called everyone to the stage. Since they had such an interesting and strong cast of characters, they decide to do the preliminaries live.

Just then, a man in black passed, pushing the red-haired man out of the way and nearly causing Rugal's glass to tip over. Rugal was going to speak up, but the red-haired man pushed him out of the way. "Who do think you are? I'm not letting you get in the way of my goal.", he said. The other man then turned around, having his tongue out. With just one look, Rugal recognized him; it was that Ryuji Yamazaki guy from Hong Kong! "Oh? Just what are you gonna do about it, shitty hair?", Ryuji said. He then proclaimed his said victory over the tournament, saying he'll kill anyone in his way before laughing and going away. Heidern then entered the picture, with Ralf alongside him.

"Rugal, you scumbag!", Heidern shouted, as he went for Rugal, who was more than happy to fight Heidern again. Before they could fight, the announcer called all the fighters to a waiting room, since the tournament was about to start. "If we face each other in the ring again, I will take the other eye.", Rugal said, as everyone sat inside the waiting room, wondering who they'll go up against.
