What If Goku was in KOF/Fatal Fury?

Part 3: The Rising Tides (Rest of 21st World Tournament)

The first match of the quarter finals would be Broly vs Jackie Chun. Roshi would still have the edge in skill, but Broly starts to overcome him. As shown in the movie, Broly grows as he fights; in power and technique. Eventually, Broly starts to get on even playing ground with Jackie, which is at the point he concedes. Jackie thanks Broly for the match, and the two leave the ring.

The next match is Geese vs Ryuji, which is an exciting fight. Geese has the skill and power in him to keep up with Ryuji, and uses his skill advantage to his fullest. Unlike Ralf's fire, Geese's Reppuken travels along the ground. Ryuji gets hit it, and Geese does a Fudou Ken A, attempting to launch Ryuji out the ring as fast as possible. However, Ryuji grabs onto the ring and pulls himself back onto the ring.

"Hey! Just what do you think I am?", Ryuji asked, pissed that Geese attempted to end the match so fast. "A no-good gangster, that's what I see. You're not worth my time, Ryuji.", Geese replies. "Why you bastard.... I'll kill you!", Ryuji replies, pulling out a knife. He then goes in for a stab, but Geese just grabs it, breaking the knife with a Reppuken.

"PREDICTABLE!"

Geese then slams Ryuji into the ground at max strength, causing a small crater in the ring. He then does a Deadly Rave, knocking Ryuji around with a rush of punches and kicks. He then puts his hands together, putting some ki in them that pushes Ryuji out of the ring. Due to violating tournament rules, Ryuji is quickly arrested by the police for doing so.

Over with Rugal and Goku, the two would finish eating their food and start heading back to the arena, as their fight is fast approaching. "So, your race is comprised of warriors, right? And the only ones here is you three?", Rugal asks. "Yep! The other three work for Frieza, the emperor of the universe and whatever. Here's a scouter!", Goku says. He then goes on to explain what a scouter is for, scanning Rugal's power level. It comes out at 215, which Goku is surprised at. "215? That's around my strength!"

Rugal chuckled, picking up the scouter and using it on Goku. "That so? Well, let us see." Upon scanning his power level, he finds out that Goku is barely above him, at 220. "As expected from a warrior like you. Seems you are correct, Son Goku.", Rugal said. "Good luck in our bout."

The next match of the quarter finals is Iori Vs Andy, which is another match that is slightly one sided. Even though Andy would be as strong as in canon, Iori's anger drives him past that, dueto not being able to fight Kyo. He then wastes no time in ringing Andy out to get the next best thing to Kyo; Goku.

With that, the final match of the semifinals begin; Son Goku vs Rugal Berenstein. Rugal held onto his formal clothes. "So, do you want to go all-out now or later, Goku?", he asked. Goku panicked. "Hey, let's warm up first! I-I'm not ready yet!" Rugal chuckled. "Sorry for that. Now, let us battle." Rugal let go of his oufit, and then got into position to fight Goku, who did the same.

The fight starts off with some projectiles, Rugal launching Reppukens. Out of nowhere, two ki blasts come from the ground, as Goku flies up and combo's Rugal into the air, smacking him back down with the Power Pole. Rugal catches himself, and counters another Pole Slam with a God Press, slamming Goku against the ground of the arena. Goku then got back up, throwing some shurikens to keep Rugal on the defense while he tries to think of something to get damage on Rugal.

Rugal easily catches the shurikens and throws them right back at Goku. He reflects it with his Power Pole, but Rugal just knocks them away. Goku then has an idea, provoking Rugal to attack. He launches a Reppuken, to which Goku throws a smoke bomb on the ground and dissapears. Rugal looks around for him, not finding him anywhere. Goku then infuses his fist with fire, appearing behind Rugal and hitting him in his back. This knocked Rugal onto the ground, his face nearly touching the grass outside the ring. Rugal then stood back up, smiling.
