Breathing out slowly, I sat on top of the tour bus, staring out at the setting sun. The wind breezed and my hair blew back in the air. Tiredly, my eyes closed to the silence. I inhaled the cigarette in my grasp and pulled my legs up to my chest. The last thing I wanted was to be alone.

Scrunching my nose, I rested my forehead on my knees and flicked the ash off of my cigarette. The smoke rose and swirled in the air.

I tried my hardest not to be weak.
But it couldn't be helped. It couldn't be stopped. Too much had happened to prevent otherwise.

Looking back up at the half eaten away sun, a lone tear fell down my cheek and dried on the wind.
I never thought this would be the life I had signed up for.
