The next day at school, Keefe marched right up to Julia and asked, "Why were you being so nice to me yesterday? In elementary school, you were a bully."

Julia laughed. "That's all behind me. We were kids. I didn't know what I was doing. You didn't know what you were doing."

" I wasn't doing anything. " Keefe pointed out.

Julia laughed again. "Of course you were." And with that, she turned around, and started talking to her friends that she had made right on the spot.

Keefe stared at her for a second, then turned and walked away.

Keefe walked into the cafeteria with his elixir (As he called it) ready to make Fitz barf.

Instead he ran into Julia and her friends who immediately invited him over to 'their' table.

Keefe sat down, and instantly all of the girls clamored or his attention.

He sent a 'help me!' look in the way of his friends table.

Dex thankfully saw, and came over.

"Um hi girls." He said awkwardly. " come on Keefe. "

Keefe gratefully stood up and followed him to the table where they usually sat at, the girls glaring at Dex the whole time.

"Thanks Dex."

He shrugged. "No problem."

Keefe scooched his way over to Fitz and when he went to go to the bathroom.........Stina ambushed him.

Ever since Keefe had moved to Atlantis Stina followed him around.

It was obvious she had a crush on him, and Keefe hated it.

Especially since she used to be best friends with Julia.

"Hi Keefe." Stina said batting her eyelashes. (gosh, I practically barfed)

"Uh, hi Stina."

Stina started cracking her fingers, and leaned against the table.

Keefe cringed. Ever since she was little, her older sister told her that boys loved the sound.

Obviously she was kidding, but Stina took the advice, and still did it.

And you'd think she'd know by now, that it isn't.

"So, Keefe, what are you doing Friday night?"

" You mean Prom night? "

Stina nodded.

"Nothing." Keefe said quickly, maybe too quickly, because Stina narrowed her eyes.

All of a sudden, Fitz glided in between them. Instantly the tension was broken, and Stina leaned back.

Keefe let out a sigh of relief.

Stina glared at Fitz.

And Fitz looked helplessly clueless as he tried to enjoy his lunch.

Stina huffed out a breath and left the table.

"What was that all about?" Fitz asked.

" Stina was just being Stina. " Keefe replied.

Fitz nodded in realization.

When Keefe got home, he did his homework right away, so he could work on Plan B.

Before he could do anything, Fitz called him.

"Hey Fitz. Whats up?"

"Nothing really. Just laying in my bed with a barf bowl next to me."

" Really? "

"Yeah. Apparently I got the flu. So, no prom for me."

"Aw, that too bad."

In Keefe's head, a little party was going off.

"That's too bad? What was that?"

Keefe forced a laugh. "I'm probably just rubbing off my dad."

" Hmm. Well, anyway, I gotta go. Bye. "

"Bye ."

Keefe hung up, and started going crazy.

He did his weird dance, that Ro said looked like he was trying to kill someone, and sung at the top of his lungs, "Yaaaaaa! Oh yeahhhh!"

Cassius flung open the door to his room, and asked what the heck was going on.

Keefe just grinned sheepishly.

And then came the hard part. Figuring how to ask Sophie to the prom.

Wow keefe! You went wild with that news. XD
