Yamato and Kakashi soon started dating after a few more dates. To this point, Kakashi asked Yamato to move into his apartment.
And of course, he said yes.
In it Kakashi helped him out, Yamato kept the things he needs and sold the stuff that he didn't need but kept his plants.
They moved the boxes to Kakashi's car and took a break, they both were chilling and were talking about stuff until Kakashi asked him an unusual question.
"Why do you have so many plants????"
"Can't I?"
"....."
"What?"
"D-Do you still have wasabi?"
"Yeah-"
"WHERE IS SHE!?!?"
"Jeez calm down...."
"Brooooooo! I brought that plant to fair with you and my dad! Of course, I took of her, and sometimes you would take of her too...." Kakashi said getting up looking for his old plant. He looked around Yamato's place room and trying to find her.
"You left the place-"
"Shhh! This is my plant, don't ruin this!"
"........"
"What??"
"Nothing..."
"You have something to say don't you?"
"Nope! Nothing! Nada!!"
"Say it!!!"
"......No!"
"Coward...."
Yamato kicked Kakashi's knee making him fall.
"WHAT DID I DO?!?! WHYYYYYY?????" Kakashi said pretending to be hurt and Yamato rolled his eyes.
Yamato gave him a smile and left while Kakashi lay on the ground, sulking. He stays there until something appeared in front of him.
"WASABI!!!!"
"Yeah, I still have her."
Kakashi got up and took the plant from him.
"She grew so much!"
"Well, I took of her while I left......"
"Like when...."
They both went super quiet and just silent.
Kakashi broke the silence by asking him.
"Why did you leave so suddenly?"
"....I had to transfer schools....."
"Yeah, I know... But it was the same time when my father got killed and I left the ANBU... I didn't see you at the funeral..."
"I just...." Yamato said stopping mid-sentence and looked away.
"I tell you another time... I just can't... Its something you won't like..."
"Alright.... just promise me you do tell me, okay?"
"Yeah, I will...."
Kakashi got up from the ground and placed the plant on the table.
"Now let continue!" He smiled but he obviously wanted to know more.
