Iceman has gotten even more jealous when Maverick and Charlie got more flirty. He was actually beginning to get depressed about it, but he took it out in angry competitiveness.
He and Slider came into the locker room, bragging about their win very little, unlike Maverick and Goose who were very openly bragging.
"You two really are cowboys." Iceman remarked turning away. He tried to keep himself from blatantly showing his jealousy.
"What is your problem Kazansky?" Maverick asked, aggression in his tone.
The aggression mixed with the way Maverick said his name sent a tingly feeling through Iceman's chest. He turned around, closing his locker.
"You're everyone's problem. That's because everytime you go into the air, you're unsafe. I don't like you because you're dangerous." Of course, he didn't really dislike Maverick. If anything, he was rather fond of him.
"That's right! Ice.." Maverick brushed off his shoulder, only breaking eye contact for a split second, "man." He smacked Iceman's sides, sending a whole wave up tingles up Iceman's body. "I am dangerous."
Iceman simply snapped his teeth in return. Jester called for Maverick and Goose, then Iceman patted Maverick's arm.
He was overwhelmed with this tingly, new feeling in his chest. He'd been numb to so many things for so long...
He was having a bit of a hard time accepting that he was ever so fastly falling in love with Maverick.
