I opened it wide and let Len & Jodie in. Jodie looked fantastic as always, she was wearing a pair of white shorts with a yellow chiffon top, she had a white crop top underneath that and some yellow vans. Len walked in with some 3/4 jeans and a bulls singlet on. His hair was styled as per usual. They were a great couple.
"Hey lovelies!", I cheered.
Jodie hugged me tightly.
"Went great", she whispered into my ear ever so lightly.
I smiled at her as she pulled away and I went to hug Len.
"Where have you been? You're a horrible excuse for a best friend", I said huggin him tightly.
"Well sorry then, I'll leave", he laughed.
"Oh no you don't!", I grabbed his arm and closed the door.
"I've missed you bestie", he said ruffling my hair.
"Hey hey hey don't touch the hair!", I said grumpily.
"She's serious man, she made re-do her hair the other night when I ruined it", John said, walking down the stairs.
"Really?", Jodie asked me.
"Yup, he spends so much time on his and no one is allowed to touch it, so same goes", I nodded proudly.
"You go girl!", she hi-fived me.
"Yeah you go girl", Len copied. I just laughed and walked into the loungeroom.
"So guys we have some news, and well the way girls talk I'm sure Allira already knows", Len said looking at me accusingly.
I just shrugged. John looked at me and raised an eyebrow, I simply tilted my head to signal to look at them.
"I'm gonna be a Dad!!!", He shouted after a few moments of hesitation.
"What?!", said John, a massive grin coming across his face.
They got up and hugged eachother.
"Congrats Bro!", John patted Len's back.
Jodie was grinning widley. She got up and hugged Len, who embraced her. He closed his eyes and kissed the top of her head. Their relationship was magical, no one and nothing could come between them. I hoped John and I would have that one day.
"Congrats Jodie", I smiled and hugged her again. She winked at me as we pulled away.
"And you!", I pointed at len, he looked worried for a second, "Are going to be great father", I said warmly. He smiled geuinley and gave me a big hug, while John was hugging Jodie.
The rest of the day was just nice and easy. We chilled out at home, watched some movies and caught up with each others lives in general. I felt... loved. It was a massive hug-fest all day, lots of smiles, laughs and perfect moments.
When it finally came time for Len and Jodie to leave I pulled her into my room and made her tell me exactly how he reacted.
"Well as he was eating I said "I something to tell you"", she started.
I sat there patiently waiting for her to finish the story...
**Jodies Flashback of Telling Len**
I smiled as Len stuffed his face with the french toast I cooked for him. God I loved him. My smile faded a bit at the news I was going to have to tell him. What if he ran away? No, Jodie you have to tell. Either way, he has the right to know.
"I have something to tell you", I said weakly.
"Don't tell me you poisened the food", He looked up cheekily. I smiled slightly but then he realised something was wrong. He got up and came to my side, grabbing me around the waiste and hugging me.
