I was waiting in the lobby for August when my phone started to ring "aye baybeh why you give me some hotel address?" I blushed "Um this is kinda where I'm stayin at right now" "what the hell why yo pretty ass stayin at a hotel right now ma?" I smiled, he's so cute "well because my house kinda got broken into by my ex..." I trailed off "oh.." He said in that New Orleans accent. "yeah, but anyways you here?" I said trying to change the topic "yeah ma I'm right outside but don't think I'm not done talkin wit chu about you stayin at the hotel with your fine self ight" he said as he chuckled. I shook my head and hung up. when u get outside to his car he gets out and opens the door for me. "damn ma you look fine as hell" he said lickin his lips "haha thanks not lookin to bad yourself" I replied and he smirked than jogged around to his side of the car and got in. "ight so now back to the hotel situation" he said. "yeah" I said shyly. "ma why you stayin here don't chu got a friends house you could stay at till everything cools down with your ex?" He said as he drove. "well yeah, but I can't put her in danger, he's capable of anything I would never forgive myself if anything happened to Alani" I said as I trailed off. "well you just can't stay at a hotel forever" he replied and laughed a little bit. "Yeah I know that but I have no where else to go right now" I said as we pulled up to a red light. "well ma there's only one thing you can do" he said as he looked me up and down "and what's that?" I asked curiously. "come stay with me." I looked up in shock "what!? No I can't do that August!" I said out loud inside all I wanted to say was yes but we just met and everything. "Well I don't care what you have to say ma, I'm not gon let no friend of mine stay at a hotel ight" he smirked as he rested his hand on my thigh which gave me butterflies. "um okay but just until I can find another place to stay okay" i said fast. "haha okay good ma" he winked and pulled into the restaurants parking lot. we got out and made our way inside.
