I pulled up to my house and got out and walked up to the door opening it. As I walk in I feel this draft, I look over to see my window smashed. "oh shit!" I yelled as I ran upstairs and into my closet to make sure my cash jar was still there. Everything was in its place, I walked back downstairs and too the window and I find a piece of paper there "See bitch, if you just did what I asked and didn't get me into shit this wouldn't be happening you're lucky I found your place when you weren't home other wise you'd be in serious shit. I warned you, now the games are starting." I panicked and a million things were going through my head, all I could think of was the person that could of done this and I had his name... my ex boyfriend Mark. "Shit, I can't stay here I have to find another place to stay." I ran upstairs and packed enough things I needed and got in my car and drove to a hotel for the night. As I'm driving all I'm thinking of is what he wrote about how I'm lucky I wasn't home and everything. I'm scared out of my mind. I got to the hotel and went up to my room and sat down on the bed. I looked over at my phone and remembered I promised August I'd call him so we could chill, might as well call him and make plans for tomorrow bc I clearly have nothing go on now.

THE NEXT DAY
I woke up this morning and called August after two rings he picked up "Hello" he said "hey, August, it's Kareena." I said with butterflies in my stomach. "Oh hey ma was up" he said in his thick accent. "Nothing much just wanted to see if you wanted to go get some lunch bc I promised we could hang out" wait did I just say that? "Sure little mama Olive Garden work?" "Haha yeah Olive Garden it is I'll meet you there in 20 minutes" "Okay beautiful I'll see you there". I slide the red bar on my phone hanging up. Okay so did that just really happen? As I'm looking for something to wear after I took my shower my phone starts to ring. Alani🎀👑❤️ is what popped up on my screen. "hey boo" i said "hey girl was up did you call Mr. money yet?" I laughed and said "yeah girl I called him we're meeting up at Olive Garden to get some food" "Oh my god girl that's great!" Alani said excitedly "haha yeah I'll call you back later I gotta get dressed" I said "okay boo I'll talk to you later tell me how things went" "okay bye" and I hung up. after I got dressed I made my way down stairs to my car. I got in and turned the key, but my car wasn't starting. turns out I left my lights on all night and my battery drained. I pulled out my phone and called August he picked up quick "Hey little mama where are you?" I smiled brightly "haha hey, umm my car isn't starting can we make plans for tomorrow?" "Nah ma I got chu text me your address I'll be there in a few" "um okay I'll see you in a few" I hung up my phone and texted him the address. the thing he doesn't know is, im staying at the hotel for now....
