Azazel was looking at the crystal floating in his hands, showing the live recording of Ozpin and his little group.
Salem was sitting beside him, while the rest of her little minions sat in front of them.
Azazel couldn't help but chuckle as the video crystal ball turned black. "Idiots. Now we know that this Raven girl knows or at least have some information about the spring, I'll send Fenrir there, and this Schnee girl...hmm, how should I deal with her?"
Salem's minions doesn't dare to utter a word. A few days ago when Salem first introduced him to them, they weren't very satisfied, especially Arthur Watts and Tyrian, but he shut them up by blowing an entire mountain.
He also gave Cinder, their newest member, a mark that gave her some of his power, and also increased her lifespan up to ten thousand years.
He even said that if they did well and served him and Salem with everything they have then he shall grant them their desire.
Even bringing Hazel's dead sister back to life. And he demonstrated it by killing Tyrian before reviving him again after a few minutes.
The reason why Azazel can easily 'play' with Life and Death without consequences was because there are no Gods to monitor this world.
Azazel took his eyes from the crystal ball and glanced at Watts, "Arthur, would you please gather info about this Autumn person please? And if you can, find some information about the current Winter maiden."
"As you wish sir Azazel."
Salem smiled before looking at Tyrian, "Tyrian, please head to Vacuo and search for Summer, just ask around for the new arrival in Shade, it shouldn't be too hard."
"Yippee! Kehehe!"
Azazel then glanced at the largest man on the room, "And Hazel, please accompany Tyrian, he'll be out of control on that crazy place."
Hazel nodded without saying anything. He wasn't really a man of few words, but just likes to stay silent and not say anything unnecessary.
"Well then gentlemen, you have job to do."
The three men nodded and stood up, leaving the room. Only Salem, Azazel and Cinder remained in the room.
"Well, dear Cinder, how's your training?" He asks, looking at Cinder with a smile on his face.
Cinder did not dare to raise her head and just stared at her hands on her lap and replied, "I-Its fine, I'm doing good, g-great even!"
Cruel as she is, Cinder is still just 18 years old, and will be turning 19 in a few months. She couldn't help but get flustered at the handsome and gentle(to her) Azazel.
And gods that smile! Her cheeks just can't resist to blush every time she saw his smile.
Salem narrowed her eyes. "Raise your head child, it is disrespectful to not look at us when we are talking to you."
"Ah? I'm sorry mistress! Sir Azazel, that was disrespectful of me."
Azazel merely smiled at her. Cinder reminds him of one of his famale Sins, their desire for power, willing to do anything just to get their hands on what they want, and how she also gets flustered every time he talks to her.
"Its fine, Salem, she is just a child."
Salem turned her gaze towards him for a few seconds before she scoffed and closed her eyes.
Cinder sighed in relief, but couldn't help but get disappointed that the only man she had an interest in, just sees her as a child.
Azazel noticed this but just shook his head with a wry smile. He wasn't stranger to girls being attracted to him, even before, despite his love towards his wife, he has a harem of women from various of races, each of them willingly came to him.
All single demons, some were even married, are all attracted to him.
"Train hard Cinder, you have my mark, my royal crest, you are destined for greatness. I hope you won't disappoint, I expect great things from you."
"Ye-Yes sir!"
"Good, you may take your leave."
Cinder nodded and went out, not before bowing at Azazel and Salem. As Cinder closed the door and walked away, her shy and flustered expression disappeared and was replaced by a cold look.
Salem and Azazel are the only ones whom she can show her other side, the shy and flustered side of her.
And she will kill to keep it that way. Watts doesn't need to know, Tyrian doesn't need to know, and Hazel doesn't need to know, aside from her mistress and the man she admired, no one else needs to know.
She continue walking until she arrived at the training room. Right at that moment, a beowolf appeared and eyed her.
She remembered her mistress telling her that a grimm born from the pool are much tougher, stronger, and much faster than the grimms that aren't.
Even until now she have no idea how grimms reproduced. But she have her theories, maybe they mate like regular animals, she had seen newborn grimm that did not came from the pool, they are pathetic and weak, they don't even have mask and bones, any huntsmen-in-training can kill hundreds of them.
They might also be born from the bodies of a much larger and stronger grimm. In her stay here she encountered many large grimms that spawns numerous little grimms.
Enough of that! She did not come here to think of how grimms are born!
Cinder glanced at the mark on at the back of her right palm, she remembered how the man she admired pressed those lips against-
She shook her head. 'Get it together Cinder! Now's not the time!'
She glared at the beowolf and activated the mark, red markings spreads from the mark up until her elbow.
She then summomed a bow using her semblance and aimed at the beowolf. The grimm slowly approached her before quickly pouncing at her.
Cinder waited for the moment when the beowolf opened its mouth before firing. A large stream of dark crimson demonic energy was shot, instantly vaporizing the grimm.
"Not enough...more."
As of answering her words, a pack of beowolves emerged from the shadow, followed by four ursas, a group of creeps, and one King Taijitu.
Even veteran hunters would flee at the sight of this, they wouldn't choose to fight this small horde if they can help it.
But Cinder, instead of fear, was feeling ecstatic. She wanted to train harder, so she wouldn't disappoint the man she admired so much, and if this little challenge can help her then why not?
The worst thing that could happen is her using the full power of the mark and went on a rampage, killing anything she sees.
Yeah, something she doesn't want to do that unless absolutely necessary.
