Chapter 11

The boys performed their last day in Louisville and my brother and the rest of the boys went out in the cities of Columbus, or so I thought. I was quite lonely in the hotel and I left my room and entered the living room to call for food, Lou went to the nearest beauty shop to buy some hair products since Michael wanted to dye his hair. He got bored with the little bluish-greenish strip of hair since it faded.

I wondered why the boys didn't invite me with them, why didn't anyone stand up for me and say, "Oh dear me! Jailene should come since she is apart of the tour! Oh geez lets go ask her!" But no! No one said anything like that because if they would have, I would have been apart of who knows what kind of fun stuff they're doing!

"Hey," I heard the only voice I haven't heard talk to me in two days. "Luke, what are you doing here?" Scared, I quickly turned from my place near the couch and looked at him. I felt my heart beat fast since he frightened me and I let out a gasp. "Oh, sorry, I really didn't mean to scare you," Luke shrugged, like if he didn't care for shit and walked passed me to get his coat from the little table beside me.

"Where are you going?" I asked as he put on his black coat that fell to his hips.

"Outside," said Luke, as he put on the hoodie. I didn't want him to leave me alone, you didn't even know Luke was there, my subconscious spat at me. Well, know that I did, I didn't want him to walk out the door, I wanted company, and I wanted to make him stay with me and if I asked him questions, that would make him stay longer. "Does Paul know you're leaving," I looked through the little booklet of the hotel trying to find the food service number. "He's not here," I saw Luke shrug from the corner of my eye.

My question scheme seemed to be working! "Will you be gone for long?" I asked already feeling the loneliness since I was going to be the only one in the hotel for who knows how long. "Before I answer that question, are there anymore questions I should be aware of, since you keep shooting me some," he bit back his smile as he cocked an eyebrow. I felt my cheeks flush red in embarrassment. I don't want you to leave! Please stay! I'm going to be alone in this fucking room if Lou doesn't come in when you walk out that door! I yelled at him in my mind.

"Can I accompany you?" I bit my lip nervously as I scanned his face waiting for an answer. "Sure," Luke opened the door and stepped outside. I stood up and realised I didn't have shoes on, and I had my PJ's on! "Luke?" I called out.

"Yes."
"Can I put on my shoes and change into proper clothing? It won't take more than a minute!"
"Ok, no longer that a minute!"
"I'll be quick!" I yelled and before I even reached my room I heard Luke counting down from 60.

"-54, 53, 52, 51, 50! 49-" I quickly cut him off and stripped down my pants. "Hey! Not fair!" I yelled back trying to distract him as I searched my suitcases for pants, any pants, just not my PJ's, when soon enough I found a pair.
"-32, 31, 30, 29, 28" Luke continued to count, thankfully I had already put on my jeans and found socks, sadly, I couldn't find my other shoe from all the clothes I took out from my suitcases.

"-17,16,15" I looked around the room and gasped at the mess I had made, I was never going to find my shoe --never mind-- it was on top on of a little cabinet and I rushed out the room hopping as I put it on.

"Four seconds to spare," Luke smiled widely and I giggled. It felt great to have Luke talking to me again, I was always that type of person who didn't mind losing a friend, to see who my real friends are, but luke, Luke was different. I want him to be my friend, and it bothers me how he constantly ignores me, and then-then- he fucking smiles at me and acts as if nothing happened.

"Well then let's get going," I said, breaking away from my thoughts. I will never understand Luke. I probably lost count of how many times I've thought about not understanding him, but it's true. I just hope that one day I will get his little tricks, or just him.
