Part 01

Dodurga Marque ...

Fidgeting with her hands, Aytolün was walking front back with a scowl pastured on her face inside her marquee.

While Gümüstekin was sitting doing nothing but staring at his sister's restlessness.

"URRRGGGG Selcan." She angrily spits her name. "Did you see how she humiliated me in front of everyone, I won't spare her this time, how dare she?" she knocked the things over the table and banged her fist on it.

Gümüstekin had a neutral expression on his face, neither happy nor sad. He was calm, calmly assessing the situation, unlike his sister who was burning in rage. They managed to get the Seal of Oghuz Khan from Sungurtekin, a big victory... however, after today's event they needed to be more calculative of their steps, but he was scared that in anger Aytolün will mess up things for them.

He heard his sister murmuring, "Selcan will pay for this." Before he could say something, she shouted again, looking towards him with fire in her eyes, "How dare... how dare her to blame me for the murder in front of the whole tribe. How dare she ..." breathing heavily.

Gümüstekin rolled his eyes at his sister's frustration. He stood up from his seat and moved towards her and held her arm. She stopped in her movement and looked at him angrily but didn't say anything, waiting for him to speak.

"What are you doing Aytolün, do you want to ruin it all?" He tried to remain as calm as possible.

"So, what should I do? Are not you seeing it Abe (brother)? That stupid Selcan knows it all. Today she blamed me for murdering the woman tomorrow she will put us all in the fire."

Her hands were getting cold, doesn't know how things got messed up, "when Goncagül killed the woman, I thought everything was cleared but no that ... " before she could say more.

"Then we will send her to that woman, simple." Gümüstekin with a stone face said.

Both brother and sister's face broke into a sinister smile.

Selcan's P.O.V.

I had the chance to unveil the evil doings of that traitor Aytolün, but Alas! Alas!

It slipped from my hands. That evil witch got away with it.

No one believes me, no one. They think I am talking all nonsense but no, only my Allah and I know the tricks and games of that woman. If they keep turning deaf ears towards her antics in the tribe, the day is indeed not far when she will take over our tribe, our love, our family, our ancestral traditions, and destroy it.

Her eyes brimmed with tears, God knows how much more she has to bear for her mistakes.

Shaking her head, she let the tears flow.

Hayme ana

Gundogdu bey

Gokce

Korkut bey

Tugtekin

One by one that witch is taking them under her control.

Allah, they are so clueless of her lies and cunning ways.

Why can they not realize that she is putting fire to Tugtekin's anger?

Why they are unseeing that she is setting my sister Gokçe against me, against her own sister?

I would not have minded her hatred towards me, I know I deserve it, but she is being used against her own family.

Gundogdu

Why?

A bitter smile came on her face.

Her Gondogdu.

He is blinded by their trust and devotion towards him and his tribe that he is unable to notice the fuel they are adding between Ertugrul and him.

Putting two brothers opposite to each other.

Who will question them?

They don't have answers to my questions but deep down they all know it too, they can feel it that all this disturbance, all this fight is not just for peace, brotherhood, and for safeguarding the state.

Something eviller is brewing behind it. This all is just a façade to cover up their sins.

We are in a war, a war between two tribes, between two brothers, between evil and good, between justice and power. And One thing is for sure if we don't stand together and fight them off, Allah knows how much more we could take before the fall.

Aahhh Selcan aahhh... we already have our hands full with problems and now these betrayals.

This is the end...

Her mind got hazy, coldness started to creep inside her. "This can't be the end.", she mumbled to herself.

No no no no I won't let it happen.

I wish... I wish Ertugrul bey was here, he would have been my great help. Indeed, he would have recognized those infiltrators. But it seems Allah wants me to pass this test alone.

***********

She was so engrossed in her worry that she didn't notice someone entering and was now looking at her.

Completed her task for today she went towards Selcan's tent, but she was deep in her thoughts.

Halime sighed, seeing Selcan in this state really hurt her.

Over the past two years, they have grown so much closer and their bond has become stronger. She is just like an elder sister to Halime. Selcan made up for everything she did to Halime, even though it wasn't needed but that's what made her heart at ease so Halime never minded it.

They had a great time together.

Selcan was always the one taking care of her and worrying about her health. One-time Selcan almost spits fire on the poor woman who mistakenly dropped the bucket on her feet, Halime chuckled.

But Selcan's behavior is making Halime worried.

Selcan always had a big mouth and no one had problems with that, however, now the situation is different they are sharing food with another tribe and Selcan needs to understand how to act before... before everyone steps away from her.

"Selcan", Halime called her in a soft tone.

"Huh... Halime Hoşgeldiniz (welcome)", startled by her Selcan quickly dried her tears and motion her to take a seat.

Sitting beside her Halime gave her a comforting smile and took her hand in hers assuring that everything will be fine, Insha Allah.
