STAND BY YOU ( DMC 3 VERGIL X READER )

CHAPTER THREE

Y/n's POV

I gasped so hard as I woke up from that terrible nightmare. Cold sweats  are running down on my forehead as I inhaled sharply then exhale trying to calm myself down.

I slowly touched and caressed my cheeks as i feel the wetness of tears in my hand and it's only a seconds I realize that I'm crying I look at the alarm clock on the bedside table at the other side of my bed and notice that it was still 3:47 am. Sighing I wipe my tears. I stand up and walk to the balcony feeling moonlight shining brightly at me.

" I wonder if that's true Vergil  perhaps the feelings deep inside me wishes that you love me..." i murmured looking at the moon.

The moon illuminates all the houses and building of Fortuna city and somehow it calms me down I tried to smile but a fraction of the dream slip at my mind and worries filled on it.

" Vergil..." i murmured his name while still looking at the moon

" I don't know what you're trying to do but i need to stop you..." I thought as I walk back to my bed and slip on it deciding to sleep again but this time I'm sure I'll be dreaming something nice not a nightmare.

THREE HOURS LATER

I wake up and look again to the clock on the bedside table.

" 7:15 am" I murmured while looking at it.

I slip out of my bed as i put my feet on the cold floor ,  sunlight illuminates my room making me feeling comfortable. I walked to the bathroom and closed the door while walking towards the bathtub turn the faucet on putting a vanilla scented liquid soap and a petals on the bath tub and slip inside on it as a sigh escape on my lips

" that nightmare is kinda hard eh" i slightly chuckled to myself and started scrubbing again to myself and hum until i sing the song.

" we will see well fight until eternity come with me well stand and fight together to ourselves well make a better day tomorrow we shall never surrender " i smiled a little bit.

" I can't stop thinking about what he said in my dream.. " i murmurs then blush at the thought.

After taking a bath i grabbed my robe then walk on my room taking a stall to my closet room i pick a pastel purple dress with a ruffles on the end and a pair of flat black shoes i stared at myself in the mirror then twirl slightly laughing

" Is it bad to impressed someone today? "i smiled talking to myself in front of the mirror after all I realized I'M WEARING A NICE DRESS TO MAKE HIM NOTICE ME!

But he is Vergil! The man who I always dreamed of! well that sound so wrong but seriously I'm dreaming about him literally not romantically! whatever! I'm sure he wouldn't notice it i walk on the table and putting a little bit of jewelries because today I just feel like I want to!

I exhale in front of the mirror and took a lipstick slightly pucker my lips and put the lipstick on it a pop sound came out. I smiled again maybe i should go to the library today? i stand up and walk outside of my room walking out of my house and lock the door i took a stroll on my way to library in the Fortuna city.

When I arrived at the place I open the door and greeted the librarian.

" Oh ms. y/n! you're a little bit early like the man yesterday " the librarian named Sasha said.

" he's here? " i ask and the librarian as she nodded back at me. I walked around the the tall shelves to find Vergil but i can't see him this wide stalls of bookshelf are on my way. But I heard a slight noise far away and decided to walk ahead and notice that Vergil is talking to someone I stopped in my tracks and looked at it as I saw a bald creepy man who's walking onto Vergil who's rummaging through the shelves.

" So you're looking for the book of ancient legends...the tale of the demon warrior Sparda?" the bald man ask Vergil " that's not what im looking for, leave me " Vergil said and closes the book and put it back on the shelf.

"The legend of Sparda?" I murmured as if asking myself the book he read yesterday? The man somehow took the book then?

" then what ARE you looking for?... a demon that impregnates a woman who then bears twin sons that the story isnt it? "the bald creepy man said.

I frowned why does Vergil is looking for a book like that? The tale of the demon warrior sparda? that's odd. I gasp slightly when Vergil point's the yamato on the bald creepy man

" Leave me i wont tell you a third time " he said but the bald man keeps talking and putting his hand on Vergil's yamato sliding it downwards as blood are pouring out on his hands.

" people inherently fear evil. However... occasionally a person may become'd seduce by evil "the bald man said a glint of curiousity on vergil eyes and put back his yamato on his sheath.

" what are you getting at?" vergil ask the bald man

" share with me the story of sparda " the bald man said but Vergil just walk away I gasped and walk onto the first shelf of the library as if finding a book i must act that I know nothing at all a shadow creep towards me and I know that it's Vergil.

" So what did you get by eavesdropping on us " I turned around and look at Vergil as he said that

" I-im not! I knew nothing!" I said slightly stuttering oh come on, why am i stuttering i notice that Vergil is looking at me from head to toe I slightly blush and look away Vergil just look at me coldly.

" You shouldn't put your nose on someone's business" he spat I felt like my heart is been stabbed by knife because of what he said I felt the tears in my eyes started to pour out but I control it and inhales trying to calm myself

" S-sorry i just stumble on that place and happened to see you talking with that man " I said and started to walk away gosh I even dress up for today and this is what I've got well its my fault for expecting something to him but what he said right now makes my heart hurt and I hate it I looked away but suddenly he grabbed my hands and I gasped and look at him.

" by the way you look nice today " he said then this time he walks away.

A blush creep onto my face and started walking outside the library. What the hell was that? He notice it? I'm such an idiot my purpose is talk to him yet why am I walking out? I blushed even more. I just can keep myself blushing in front of him so I ran away! Whatever I'll just go back home.

Vergil's POV

" The activation method as i prescribed before. it should be a simple matter to you " Arkham said holding a book in his right hand as he keeps on muttering on how to open a portal of the demon world.

" I will go to his place , i believe that i know where the item we seek is located " he spat once again and clutched the book tightly on his hand what he means about the item we need is the amulet my brother Dante have. Our mother had given a amulet to us , mine is the blue one and Dante had the red one. This amulet is useful to open a portal of the demon world.

" You should dispose any obstacle quickly and Vergil stay away on that woman who you met yesterday if you dont want all of your plans to be ruined." he said talking about y/n the woman i met yesterday and this time walk away

" You don't need to say it. I'm not foolish like you and I entend to " i said onto him.

Humans are frail and i don't want any human contact or emotions to feel. I am a demon and I should act like one I want to be like father and that is why I need more power because without power you cannot control everything.

Demons appears in front of me this time as I readied my sword and started slicing them onto half their bodies turned to ashes and disappear after killing them. I put my sword back onto my sheath and slick back my white hair and started walking to the tower called Temen Ni Gru as i stop in front on the door i smirked " It begins".
