Sub Rosa in Dadiangas

Introduction

"I begged a countless times, Jaze! But you never look at me, not even once." A tear fall into my eyes. He walked towards me and grabbed my waist.

He hugged me and whisper into my ears. "I'm sorry, Love. I'm really sorry."

"Cut! Good take!" Kumalas ng yakap sakin si Tyler and handed me a handkerchief.

"You are so amazing, Cleo. Ni hindi ko ine-expect na ganon ka kabilis maiiyak." I chuckled and gave back his handkerchief.

"Ano ka ba, set the emotions you feel lang 'yan." Naglakad kami palapit sa director and thanked them for this day.

"See you on Wednesday night!" I bid my goodbyes to the staffs and to Tyler.

Nakakapagod ang araw na 'to. I've been shooting for almost 18 hours. Gosh! I have to set my mood into something sad dahil napaka-bigat ng scenes.

"Water, Miss Cleo." Inabot ko 'yong bottled water and drink from it.

"Thanks, Pey. May schedule ba ako bukas?" I removed my make-ups and change my heels into something comfortable.

"Ah yes, Miss Cleo. You have a meeting with the LC Company tomorrow, so we have to go to the office by 8am." I massaged the bridge of my nose. Gosh, I almost forgot about it.

"Okay, thanks." I slept on our way to my house and also bid my goodbye to my manager, make-up artist and driver.

Nagbihis ako into my nighties and also did my skin care to have a fresh face. I wasn't expecting this kind of job, ni hindi ko akalain na magiging artista ako.

I have to throw everything to be able to come this far. Though, I don't feel happy enough. Feeling ko hindi ko pa rin naabot lahat ng gusto ko, or is it just because of him? Hays.

I woke up early dahil hindi ako makatulog ng maayos. I put eye masks, and I also took a quick shower after my breakfast.  I'm wearing an off-shoulder gray dress and T-strap platform heels. I also did my hair into ladder braid and got my purse. I also wear my shades.

My manager and driver was waiting for me outside already. "Morning, Miss Cleo." I greeted them back and Pey handed me a coffee.

"Miss Cleo, naki-hearing ako sa mga kakilala kong employees kagabi, and guess what, the President of the Company is a hottie. Take note, single." She even giggled while telling me.

"Really? Baka naman masungit yan." I chuckled. Pey just keep on trying to hit me with guys this past few months. She even set me up for a blind date but nothing works.

"I don't know. Kakabalik lang daw ng Pilipinas 'yon 'e. It was the Vice President of the board who recommended you daw as their Ambasadress." I nodded and asked her about the company.

"They have their own hotels, publishing company and also in marketing. One of the best companies so far." Nice, hotels? I guess I will like their company.

Nang makarating kami sa LC Building, I was recognized by some employees kaya napag-tumpukan ako ng mga tao.

"We love you, Miss Clarisse!"

"Thank you so much, thank you, thank you!" I have to say this a countless times para maparamdam ko sa kanila kung gaano ako kagalak sa mga suporta nila sa akin.

We get past through them dahil na rin sa tulong ng securities. We went to the 20th floor of the building kung saan gaganapin ang meeting.

I entered with so much confidence so I got the attention of everyone inside the room. Naglakad ako papunta sa bakanteng upuan, I removed my shade and smiled to them.

"Hello, everyone. I am Clarisse Rose Zamora, and thank you for giving me this kind of big opportunity."

"We're very pleasure to have you in the company, Miss Zamora. I am Gregory Velo, the Vice President of LC Company." I handshake with him and give him a big smile.

"The President is here." We all fixed our eyes to the man coming inside the conference room. Gosh, inagawan ako ng grand entrance nito ha.

My jaw drop when I saw the man's face. He also stop when our eyes met. Looks like he didn't expect me to be here also. His face turned shade darker.

"Sir?" He walked past us and went to the middle part of the table. He bit his lower lip and look around, stopping his gaze to me.

"Miss Zamora, it is?" Now, all the attention went to me. I smiled to him as a respect.

"Yes, Sir. Pleasure to be—"

"Let's start the meeting." Ang bastos! He cut my words infront of everyone. I felt so embarassed so I have to smile awkwardly.

There were photographers and some media came inside, but only few to capture this moment! I wasn't informed that today was also the contract signing,

I was told to stand beside the President to take a picture with the contract. I sigh heavily before standing beside him, giving everyone a fake smile to take a picture.

"Are you even eating?" I arched my brows when he suddenly whisper. I took a glance at him, he's still looking serious infront of the media and all.

"Of course, duh." I said, still faking smile infront of everyone. We were told to get closer so we have to move to each other's side. My boobs brushed past to his arms so I got shookt a little.

I glance at him and I could see him biting his lower lip to stop himself from stifling a smirk. Gosh, this pervert Lucien!

"Perv." I whispered.

He glanced at me and gave me an amused smile, like he was enjoying my face getting pissed by him. Gosh, the nerve of this man.

The Vice President and the other members of the board also took a picture with us. I was a little shocked when I felt the hand of the Vice President in my waist. Nangilabot ako bigla.

I have no choice na isiksik ang sarili ko kay Lucien para lang maalis ng Vice President 'yong kamay niya sa waist ko. I'm giving hints to the Vice by getting away from him. Lucien was also confused when he felt me getting so close to him.

I gave him a helpless smile. I gave him a look at my back and so he took a glance at it. He pushed his tounge inside his cheeks, looks like he's getting pissed. Naramdaman ko ang pag-alis niya sa kamay ng Vice President sa waist ko. The Vice P. got shocked and move away a little.

"Do it again, or I'll fucking fire you." he whispered angrily to the Vice President, mukha namang natakot 'yong Vice-Pres. kaya mas lumayo pa kaonti sakin.

After the meeting, the Vice President apologize to me. I have no choice but to accept his apology because I'm now in contract with them so I also need to respect him.

Hindi na kami nakapag-usap ulit ni President Lucien after the meeting but I saw him talking to the Vice President habang palabas kami ng building. Looks like he's scolding the Vice, I wanted to stop him but I remembered that I have nothing to do with him now.

"Miss Cleo, ang hottie ni Pres. Cervantes 'no?" Pey giggled.

"Really? I don't think so." Giving her no hints about my past.

"Huh? Ba't biglang ganon? Ayaw niyo na po ba sa hottie?" She's so confused. I just smiled at her.

Lucien was walking towards us so we have to stopped walking. I thought he was going to ask me something or talk to me, but he just passed at me.

Okay, that fucking hurts.

"Yeah, I'm no one to him now." I whispered while looking at his back. Why are you so far to me now?

"Come on, Pey. This place is hurting me."
