We pull into the drive way and T helps me into the house. I see food containers all over the place "baby have you been eating out instead of cooking?" She nods with a sad look on her face. I pull her onto the couch next to me and kiss her passionately the kiss was sweet and went on for what seems like forever until we heard a car horn outside. T opens the door and in runs Maddie right into my arms, I've missed her so much that I kiss all over her face causing her to giggle. So placed her hands on my stomach waiting for her brother or sister to move. T kissed her head and went to the kitchen. "How was the movie night at the twins house princess?" I asked her fluffing her big Afro she said she had fun.
Maddie gasped when she felt the baby kick where she was resting her hand and laughed. I pulled out my phone and took pictures of her. It feels good to be home at last.

Tiffany
Cash is finally home and has Maddie in her arms. I see them in the living room as I start to clean up the food containers that I left laying around. Maddie and Cash are laughing their hearts out and I hold back tears because my family is together and everyone is safe...for now at least. I quickly clean up and join my wife and daughter on the couch. Seeing Maddie interacting with Cash is so adorable because the love they share is pure.
I can't wait for our baby to get here. We need to decorate his or her room. We decided to go with Mickey Mouse and friends since we don't know the gender. I started putting the crib together. Cash likes to paint to I decided to wait for her. I get up kissing Cash and Maddie "babe if you need anything call me, I don't want you getting up on your own" I went and got in the bed and feel asleep.

Cash
I was watching tv with Maddie and my head started hurting bad so I yelled for Tiffany. Maddie snuggled up against me as I continued to call for Tiffany. She finally came around the corner with the look of concern on her face "baby my head hurts really bad" I say on the brink of tears. She gets my medicine and I take them. She puts Maddie to bed and then comes and helps me into bed also. She holds me and rubs my belly till I fall asleep.

Flashback
Let me clean up so I can get everything ready for T. I open the dryer and start putting clothes in when I hear a grunt then a sharp pain against my head, as I slowly lose consciousness I see her face, well some of her face then I hear "y'all are gonna pay for what y'all did to her" then I blackout"

I woke up shaking bad asf and sweating. Tiffany shot up instantly comforting me making sure I was ok. The baby must have sensed how stressed I was cause he or she never settled down after that. It was about 5:45am so I took a hot bath and relaxed. I stayed in until the water got ice cold just thinking about that night. I was scared shitless and the fact I couldn't protect my family made it worse; I cried silently to myself.

Tiffany
I normally would go sit in the bathroom with Cash to make sure she was ok but I didn't this time, she looked like she was crying. I brought her a towel and helped her up I kissed her and her belly reassuring her that she was amazing and special and that she changed my life. She dried off and put lotion on her body as I stare. I got up and rubbed the lotion on her belly smiling while looking into her eyes again. We climbed back into bed and put on a comedy and talked. We must've been loud because Maddie came into view and crawled into bed with us with her bear and fell back to sleep.
