CHAPTER 10

3rd person's POV

The morning came by and Harry woke up to take a shower. 'Sunday. That means that classes start again tomorrow, lovely.' Harry thought to himself.

He then casted a tempus spell and realized that it was still pretty early. He got dress and since he knew that he couldn't go back to sleep he went down to the common room to wait for the others to wake up, but little did he knew that someone was already there.

He got down and he was met with a pair or grey-stormy eyes red and puffy from crying.

"Hey ,hey what happened" he asked worried

Draco lift his head up and saw Harry approaching him. He finally sat down next to him and put his hand on Draco's back , running soothing circles

"Is everything alright?" Harry asked again more worried than last time if it was possible

"Yes j-just" he started but he stopped and his eyes filled with tears once more. Harry continued rubbing softly Draco's back

"It's okay if you don't want to talk about it but just so you know I'm here for you okay?"

Draco nobbed and a few tears escaped his eyes wiping then as soon as they left his eyes as not to seem weak in front of Harry.

But Harry didn't care. All he cared about was that boy sitting in front of him.

A few minutes went by and Draco had calmed down.

"It was just a nightmare" Draco said and tears threatened to escape his eyes once again.

Harry was still rubbing Draco's back which made Draco feel a bit better.

Then Draco spoke again
"We were at the room of requirement, just like that day, with the fire but this time I-I didn't make it. You tried to save me but as soon as I lifted my hand to catch yours I fell into the fire and the last thing I remember is hearing someone screaming"

And at that point Harry couldn't take it any more. He embraced Draco in a hug. Draco hugged him back immediately and placed his head on Harry's shoulder and started crying all over again.

"Thanks" Draco said when he had calmed down.

"Anytime" Harry said pulling back and looking into Draco's eyes

As the minutes passed Draco calmed more and more only by Harry's presence. They didn't have to speak to communicate to each other. Even though that the whole friendship thing among long time enemies was new, both of them felt the connection between them and none of them question it... It just felt right.

"How about we go for a butterbeer later in the afternoon? "

" I'd like that" Draco said smiling softly.

Harry and Draco talked for a good hour and now it was time for breakfast .
They got up and made their way to the Great Hall without the rest of their friends since the hadn't woken up yet.

"Harry?". Draco asked before they were ready to enter the Great Hall.

" Hmm?"

" Come sit with me in the Slytherin table if you want. I mean it's pretty early and no one would be in the Great Hall around that time"

" Okay" Harry said rather cheerfully and basically skipped to the Slytherin table leaving a laughing Draco behind him.

They sat down and eat their breakfast in peace. By the time they finished the Great Hall started filling up with students. Harry stopped talking with Draco when his and Draco's friends walked in the Great Hall. Harry and Draco said their goodbyes and Harry walked to his house table greeting his friends and engaging into conversation immediately.
