25. Point of no return

You could hear Kuroo's muffled screams, they ran in your ears like a siren. Oikawa kneeled down to your level and gently kissed your cheek. You couldn't hold back your horrified sobs. You had never actually feared for your life nor imagined you ever would.

''Please, please, please just let him go!'' you screamed.

''That's not one of the four options we have, babe'' he said in a disturbing yet seductively voice.

''W-what?'' you hiccuped from all the crying and screaming.

''You see, we can't let him go, otherwise, this would get really ugly, y/n. I kill him, you kill him, he agrees to drink this toxic acid or the two of us do it together. It's up to you, choose wisely'' he said as he giggled to himself.

You felt your stomach turn as vivid pictures filled your mind. You bend over and vomited on the concrete floor. Kuroo's desperate and panicked sounds only made it worse.

''Oh no, babe, are you feeling sick? Why didn't you tell me?'' Oikawa said worriedly as he paced around you.

''Why the fuck do you think!? This is your fault, you sick fuck!'' you snapped.

He didn't take it well as he grabbed you by your throat squeezing you tightly. He lifted his other hand slapped you across your face causing you to let out a painful whimper.

''I'm not, y/n! WHY WON'T YOU ACCEPT MY LOVE!? I have done all of this just for you!'' he frustratedly screamed at you.

He let go of you and took a deep breath. He wiped his face from the small threatening tears forming in his eyes.

''I have done nothing but accepting your love and dedicating all of my love just for you. This is sick, you can never make me say nor feel otherwise, but still, I-I can't just let go of my love for you'' you could feel your heartbreaking in a million pieces. Yout throbbing cheek didn't help.

''If you really do so, you have to choose right now, y/n'' he said giving you a loving smile.

You went completely quiet, the only sound in the basement was Kuroo's desperate screams and movement. You knew there was no other choice if you wanted to survive and escape. 

If I do it, I can make sure it will be painless, I'm afraid he won't have any mercy on him. I can't believe this is real, how can this be my reality? I don't deserve it

You looked at Kurro, your tears never stopped, you muttered a low 'I'm sorry, please forgive me'. You turned around to look at Oikawa to reveal your choice.

''I will do it''

He had run upstairs to get you a bolt gun, he hummed all the way, you could clearly hear how pleased he was with your decision. You couldn't look Kuroo in the eyes anymore, it would only make it more difficult than it already was.

When he returned he uncuffed you and led you over to the scarred man.

''I'm so proud of you, we're going to get even closer now, you can never leave me after this'' he said kissing your cheek as he helped you place it correctly.

You couldn't stop shaking, but you did it.
