Blood mixed with soap had a surprising light shade. It was actually more pink than red. You just kept scrubbing the concrete floor acting like nothing was wrong because that was how you felt. You really couldn't feel a thing. You were numb.

''I'm so fucking in love with you, y/n'' Oikawa said kneeling behind you embracing you.

''Ah, okay, that's good'' you said.

You didn't even want to run away from him. What would even be the point of that? You're guilty in the murder of first degree. The only place you should be in is a cell. Here you wouldn't be alone and not be condemned, his twisted love was truly all you have left. No one would want a murderer.

''Babe, you're technically an adult, you don't even need to give anyone an excuse for being here. Isn't it great not to have to worry about that?''

''Well, this is all I have now'' you said in a monotone voice'' you said in an emotionless voice.

''It's truly a paradise'' he said in a dreamy voice.

Oikawa had told you to go upstairs and prepare dinner while he took care of chopping up the evidence. That's what he called him. The evidence. You simply obliged, you have to get used to this and learn to love your life together.

This feels like a sick and dark novel about some murder spouses. Well, it's not too far from the truth. I don't know how to feel. Should I even feel? Am I a monster for loving a deranged psychopath? I'm, sure as hell, a monster for doing what I did.

You could feel your heart beating faster and your breaths getting faster as thoughts ran through your head like a car speeding through a highway. The sound of the saw from downstairs only added to your despair. Tears once again flooded from your eyes. You fell to the floor on your knees.

''Why do I love you and hate you so much?'' you said to yourself.

You couldn't get yourself together even with the smell of burned food. To your own horror, all you wanted was to be comforted by him. The one who put you in this disaster.

''B-babe?'' you called out in a broken voice. Soon after you heard him running up the stairs.

''What is it, y/n? Oh my god, the food!'' He quickly turned off the food and put the pan under cold water.

''I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to ruin our dinner. I just can't be alone right now, I need to have you by my side'' you said through your sobs staring in his brown concerned eyes.

''It's my fault, baby, I should have known better'' he said as he lifted you up princess style carrying you to the kitchen chair.

''Will... will this dreadful feeling ever go away?''

''It will pass before you even know it, you have everything you need'' he said in an comforting. It sounded like the only thing on his mind was making you feel better, like what happened downstairs didn't even bother him.
