Rose walked with severus over to the golden trio's table a smile gracing her features. "Good luck today, Potter. Then again now that you've proven yourself against a troll a little game of quidditch should be easy for you even if it is against slytherin" Severus drawls rose reaches over and squeezes his shoulder smiling at him. She hooks her arm to severus' and they walk away severus limping. Rosalie smiles from the high tables as hedwig drops off his broom.
TIMESKIP
Severus and Rose walk to the teachers box at the quidditch pitch, severus helping her up sitting her next to him away from Quirell. "Hello and Welcome to hogwarts first quidditch game of the season today's game Slytherin Versus Gryffindor" Lee Jordan announced as rose cheered along with the students. She drowned out the sound of Lee and focused on the game. Her brown eyes swam with panic as Harry Jerked back on forth on his broom. "Severus do something" She panicked looking at her black haired friend he nodded before working against the professor cursing her nephews broom.
As much as she wanted to she couldn't look away she only looked down when she could smell something and saw her friends robes on fire. "Severus your robes" she shouted in alarm pulling his eyes away from the potter boy he could see why his best friends voice was laced with panic. Looking down at his robes rose helped him put them out and looks up in time to see harry look like he's going to be ill. He hunches forward and opens his mouth but the only thing that comes out of his mouth is the snitch. Rose cheers as they announce Gryffindor has won and races down to the pitch and gathers harry in her arms smothering his face in kisses. Harry laughs at his aunt along with the rest of the team and her nephews friends "Good job harry i'm proud of you" she ruffles his hair before walking off to the castle.
Severus stood in front of her door as she approached it. She looks at him before rushing forward and throwing her arms around his neck her eyes tearing arm "Thank you Severus you saved him and i couldn't thank you enough i don't know what i would have done if he got hurt" She thanked him as tears ran down her face and her breath hitched in her throat.
Severus gently shushed her and wrapped his arms tighter around her "He's fine it's ok Rosie" he rocked them back and fourth as she sobbed.
