Walking up the next moring with the sun in her face she jumped out of her bed and made her way into the kitchen to make eggs and bacon alongside coffee. She sat eating the food remembering her hogwarts years with her brother and her three friends peter not included she remembered the chaotic meals with them.
November 1972 Rosalie's second year
Rosalie potter sat with her brother James her Friends Remus and Sirius and in her opinion a very annoying peter. "James be careful" Rose stated as she watched james stand on the table in the great hall trying to get Lily Evans attention "I'm fine Rosa, my lily flower go out with me" he shouted across the hall "No you bloody idiot" She responded rose having to put her fist in her mouth so she could muffle her giggles. James not shaken by the usual response tried again only to fail before turning on the table only to get his foot caught in his robes and tumble off the table and onto the floor.
Rose looked at Remus and Sirius in shock before jumping up from the table and sprinting over to james with Sirius and Remus flanking at her sides. Falling softly to her knees she tapped her brother "James" she asked softly only to receive a groan in response. She looked back at 2 of her five best friends before helping the two boys help her brother to his feet "Are you ok" she asked her brother checking him over for major wounds. James smiled at his sister motherly insticnts before brushing her off "i'm fine rosa" he laughed.
She nodded as they made their way back over to their spots at their table all of them going back to their meal like nothing Happened.
September 1st 1991
She smiled of the memory cleaning her plate and mug before racing to her bedroom and grabbing her old suitcase and going over to her wardrobe. She tossed Casual dresses and cloaks, skirts, shirts, suit jackets and pants and Nightwear into the worn leather. Grabbing her new owl in it's cage before apparating to the hogwarts castle and into her sleeping chambers.
She opened the door to her chambers and made her way to the great hall knowing the teachers were all gathering there. Opening the big doors with a squeak she made her way to the high tables. The first persson's eye she caught was Severus Snape, his eyes widened before he glided down towards her and caught the attention of the others. She met him half way and smiled at him.
He pulled her into a hug a small smile on his face shocking the newer professors seeing as he hadn't smiled all throught their introductions. "Hello rosie" he said "Hi sev" she smiled pulling back she laced her arm with his and walked with him to the high table "It's been to long" he acknowledged. She looked at him "well now we have a lot to catch up on" she smiled "Wonderful" he stated happily helping her up the steps before she detached from him to greet the others.
"Hello minnie" she smiled facing Professor Mconagall. Minerva smiled embracing the younger potter sibling "Hello dear" she said warmly. She greeted the rest of the professors besides Quirell and sat next to severus as minerva brought in the first years as the other sat their house tables.
The big doors opened and in came mconagall with the first years all of them looking around in awe. She instantly saw Harry in the crowd of first years talking to Ronald weasley. She couldn't deny that he looked a lot like james. "Wait along here" Minerva instructed waving the parchment with their names on it.
"Now before we begin professor dumbledore would like to say a few words" Minerva stated as Albus stood up. "I have a few start of term notices i wish to annocune. The first years please note that the dark forest is strictly forbidden to all students also our caretaker mr. filch has asked me to remind you that the third floor corridor on the right hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a most painful death thank you" Dumbeldore finished
"When i call your name you will come forth i shall place the sorting hat on your head and you will be sorted into your houses" Minerva explained "Hermione, Granger" she called a bushed haired girl walked forward clearly nervous. She sat on the stool the hat being placed on her head "GRYFFINDOR"
"Draco, Malfoy" he walked up to the hat nevoulsy sitting on the stool. The hat barely touching his head before it shouted "SLYTHERIN"
"Susan Bones" Rosalie watched as severus stared at her nephew before harry clutched at his scar. "HUFFLEPUFF" The hat shouted scaring her for a second for she looked at her friend again. "Severus what is it" she asked concerned "Nothing" he shook his head squeeing her hand. She nodded turning back to watch the sorting.
"Ronald Weasley" he looked ill as he walked up to the hat "GRYFFINDOR"
"Harry Potter" The hall went silent you could hear a pin drop. "GRYFFINDOR" The hall was basically bursting at the seams of the cheers Fred and George Weasley chanting "We got potter"
"Your attention please" Mconagall tapped her glass with a spoon "Before we start i would like to introduce you to hogwarts new teacher assistant Mrs. Rosalie potter" Dumbledore stated rose stood up and waved before sitting back down and watched as fred and george stared at her in amazement before the hall burst in applause and harry looked up at her in shock not being told he had another aunt "Let the feast begin" Dumbeldore called plates filling with food and Goblets filling with drinks.
Rose turned to severus as he handed her the plate of all her favorite things "Thank you severus" he smiled smally at her "No problem". Fred and George having seen the smile on snapes face looked at each other wide eyed before looking at the new professor "She really is" Fred started "The queen of hogwarts" George finished both of them astonished she got the potions master to smile. Rosalie looked at the gryffindor table just in time to see Sir nicholas pop out of the platter of chicken scaring ron in the process before all of the ghosts came out of the walls and started floating aroud.
Soon the feast ended and rosalie walked with severus to their sleeping chambers which she learned were right across from each other. Turning to one of her best friends she smiled at him "Goodnight Severus" sevrus smiled at her softly "Goodnight Rosie" she opened the door to her sleeping chamber before walking in and shutting it and changing into her sleepwear and going to sleep.
