Fuyuhiko's pov ✨

Ever since the killing game came to an end, everything was...what's the right word..set in stone. Hajime found a way to save everyone. The first thing I thought of was Peko. Nothing else made me this eager. I just wish she could accept herself as everyone else. An actual human. Not some dumbass tool or whatever my dad thinks of her. I've always wanted her by my side no matter where I was or what I was doing. Now I can actually see her again.

Apparently everyone else was awake, unlike peko which worries me the most. "Please wake up please wake up please wake up please.." I kept mumbling the same thing over and over hoping the capsule would open. I got a few visits from the others like Kazuichi, Hajime, Nagito, hell even Hiyoko was starting to get worried. But I'm not focused about that right now. I want to see Peko wake up while I'm here.

Then after a few minutes

I saw the blinking red light

Her crimson red eyes fluttered open

"..young master? Is that..you?" Her voice sounded raspy, but I couldn't help but just hug her in a heart beat. I couldn't say anything, just cry. "Y-young master." She wrapped her arms around me and started to sob. Then someone walked in. "OH- FUYU- PEKO! SHE'S AWAKE! GUYS SHE'S AWAKE!" That annoying loud voice faded away as Kazuichi ran to tell the crew Peko was awake. I pulled her away "You have no idea how happy I am to see you.. Please... never leave me again." I said with tears rolling down my face "I-I'm sorry young master I promi-" "I told you not to call me that. Just call me by my first name, please. It's all I want right now." "But I can't, as your protecter it's required.." "Peko all of that is bullshit, you're no tool to me, you're way more than that. You need to understand. I don't need a sword or some shield to keep me protected. You just being there for me... it's all I needed." "Youn- Fuyuhiko.." I smiled at her till I saw everyone rush through the door. They were all glad to see peko alive and started shouting and cheering. Teruteru brang in some of his specialties for Peko to eat. What I was glad to see most is Hiyoko and Mahiru forgive her for.. yeah. And just get along again. With full honesty, I think it's safe to say that this is the happiest I've been.
