"Don't freak out." Michael pulled me into the janitor's closet at school.
"Michael! Do you want me to be late for Western CIV!" I whisper yelled. He pulled out two slips of paper and held up Green Day concert tickets. His large hand was cupped over my mouth before I even got to scream. I ripped them out of his hands exaiming every inch of them.
"Happy birthday?" It was Green Day's annual throwback concert. They chose one of their albumbs and then played a concert for that albumb. "I'm dying!" This year, it happened to be my favorite albumb American Idiot. "Michael!"
"I know I'm the best." he bragged opening his arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck and squeezed so tight. "Okay. I really have to go. You hang onto these!" I rushed shoving the tickets at him. "Bye!"
I sat throught my favorite subject thinking about my favorite band. Which I never thought would happen.
"Scarlett? Scarlett?" Mr. Anderson asked.
"I'm sorry what?" the whole class laughed as I snapped out of my thoughts. I was a straight A student, taking all AP classes, valedictorian, and currently had the highest placement score in our school, and they were laughing at me...
"What contient do we live on?"
Why was he asking such a dumb question? "North America sir."
"Are you okay Scarlett? You seem a little... out of it."
"Yes I'm fine. Just a little side tracked."

"Do you want me to carry your books for you Scarlett?" Tyler asked rushing to my side. Tyler has had the biggest crush on me since the sixth grade. He was literally the defintion of nerd. He wasn't that smart, he was just commited to sci-fi, and he's read every comic, not to mention he's addictited to Twilight. He just gives me the goosebumps. Tyler had the look for it too. The extremely dark brown "emo fringed" hair. You didn't have to do much investigation to figure Tyler out.
((((((hhahhahahahahha get it? daylightttt)))
"No thanks Tyler. But next time can you address me as 'Miss Williams' please and thank you." I said obviosly sarcastically but Tyler didn't catch on.
"Sorry Miss Williams." He was at a light jog next to my walking pace because I was much taller than him. Tyler contiued to walk down the middle of the hallway with me until Michael joined me at my other side. I felt like we were the 'Mean Girls" of the school, the way we were walking down the hallway. I felt like there should've been a fan blowing our hair back as everyone stopped to stare. But we just walked to our next class which was study hall. Halfway up the first flight of stairs I asked Tyler to carry my books, which he almost tripped himself trying to scury over towards me. Michael looked down at me with a dissaproving glare which I met with a look of saticfaction.

"Why did you say 'happy birthday' when you gave me the tickets?" I question as we walked across the street.
"Did you not check the date?"
"Nope." I said popping the 'p'. "Are they-". I asked not bothering to finish the question.
"Yep." he chirped giving me a toothless smile. He opened the door to our apartment building and began climbing the steps.
"Awh Mikey. How thoughtful. You actually care! How sweet!" I said sarcastically .
"I'm a little offended."
"Oh my gosh! I forgot you had an accent for a minute!"
"That I do."
"Oh my gosh. That was scary for a second."
"I'm actually really bored." I plopped onto his couch.
"I'm actually really tired." he plopped down next to me. We sat in silence for a few moments until I got up and headed towards his room.
"Nap?" I questioned. I'm not sure why I did, we both knew the answer would be yes.
"Nap." he replied getting up and following me.
