You looked in the mirror for the third time that day, distracted by a simple bathroom run turned to this. Pinching and prodding at every mound and dimple/hollow cave and thin layer of flesh. How could you let yourself get like this? No one would ever love something so ugly. Especially not yourself.

How the hell you ended up not liking your body? You couldn't trace it back. Hell, now looking at yourself, your facial features didn't look too good either. Why are you even with him? You thought. Why does he even give you the time of day? You're so damn ugly. Nobody could ever love you.

Still pinching and frowning, you didn't notice your loving boyfriend of two years come up behind you. "Darling?" He said. "What are you doing?" You jolted and covered your stomach. "Nothing...? I was just finishing up I swear." Arthur saw that look in your eye, the sorrowful, resentful one. He saw it in your eyes and didn't believe you.

"You sure that's all babe?" He questioned. "...yeah. I'm totally sure." "You hesitated. There's more to this story isn't there?" "I don't know what your talking about." "Yes you do. Just tell me and we can go get boba like you wanted babe." " There's nothing wrong." "Yes there is, I can see it in you-" " THERE'S NOTHING WRONG ARTHUR, DAMN IT!"

You pushed past him, and stormed upstairs to your shared room. Flopping down onto the bed, you grabbed your pillow and sobbed into it. Hearing footsteps ascending the stairs and a knock you lift your head. "Go away."

He comes in anyway. "Honey, I'm..." He sighs. "If you don't wanna talk about it, you don't have to. I'm sorry I pushed you too far. Just know that I love you. Everything about you. Your personality, your body, everything."

"Can I at least get a hug?" Arthur asked. That made you giggle. He smiled. "Only after you get me boba lover boy, you ruined my mood."
