(Y/N)'s pov:
I was moving to a new apartment due to my job. It was closer and it would save me a lot of time in the morning. My old best friend was free so he offered to help me move in. I haven't seen him in years well, in person at least. I'm even surprised he is free today. He is usually so busy we barely even get to talk on the phone. We were inseparable before, whatever we did we did it together. That is before he became a star. Now he has a very busy schedule and he barely has free time to do anything else. I was happy for him of course, but I missed spending time with my best friend. When you are Park Chanyeol I guess having friends besides EXO is hard. That is why I was legit shocked when he said he'll come and help me. He was helping me move in since the morning and it was already 5PM. I ordered some food and coffee for both of us. The food came and we were preparing to sit down to eat.
(Y/N): Hey Yeoly, leave everything and come over here to eat.
Chanyeol: But there is still work to be done.
(Y/N): Leave it. I'll do the rest tomorrow. If you want you can go take a shower first and then come to eat.
Chanyeol: That would be nice, thanks.
I went to my room to bring him a towel.
(Y/N): Thank you, silly. You've been helping me whole day long. Here, catch.
I throw him a towel and he heads for the bathroom.
Chanyeol: Well what can I do when you don't have a boyfriend to help you? I won't leave my best friend alone.
I looked at my finger where there used to be a ring. My eyes filled with tears. I must have spaced out for a while because I haven't noticed when he came out of the shower. He got dressed and was drying his hair with a towel when I heard him calling my name.
Chanyeol: Hey (Y/N), why are you crying?
He cupped my cheek.
Chanyeol: Did I say something to make you cry? I'm sorry I didn't mean to...
Then he noticed me looking at my finger. He hugged me tight. I buried my face in his chest and started sobbing.
Chanyeol: What happened to you? Shhh... stop crying, I'm here. You can tell me anything I'm your best friend.
(Y/N): Why are you guys so mean huh?
I asked him looking at him in the eyes. He knew I had a boyfriend for the past two years, but he didn't know how we broke up. I just told him that we stopped having feelings for each other and we broke up. He didn't say anything, he just let me talk.
(Y/N): I wish I could just go back in time when I didn't care about guys, when it was just me and you joking around.
He smiled at me and kissed my forehead.
(Y/N): Why did we have to grow up Yeoly?
Chanyeol: Did he cheat on you?
He asked me looking at me in the eyes.
I nodded looking at the ground.
(Y/N): A month after he proposed me. I saw them holding hands and kissing each other.
He was clenching his jaw while holding me tight.
Chanyeol: It's OK baby girl, let it out. I'm here now. I won't let anything bad happen to you anymore.
I wiped away my tears and gave him a smile.
(Y/N): Silly me, I haven't seen my best friend in years and now I'm wasting time complaining. Come on sit down, I'll just go wash my face and we'll eat, OK?
He nodded and sat on the table. I came back and sat across him.
(Y/N): Come on, let's eat. I'm as hungry as a wolf.
